"We ordered catering on Saturday morning to pick up on Tuesday afternoon. We ordered more than 48 hours in advance. When we arrive on Tuesday afternoon and showed my order online, they said they did not make the catering and must have missed our order. They had to make it and it takes 25 minutes. We are already late for the holiday party at the bowling alley. Very disappointed."

"On 09.11.23 I purchased catfish from the Giant at the Collington Plaza Bowie, MD location. When I arrived home I discovered that the fish was spoiled. I immediately called and a very attentive nice young lady name Alleyah answered my call. She asked me to return to the store and she would take care of everything. I really didn’t expect that type of pleasant customer service. Often people in the service industry are extremely rude. When arrived Alleyah was there and she kept her word. She took control of the situation and I’m a very happy customer. I wish all of the Giant stores would hire people more like Alleyah. Thanks Alleyah for being a shining star."

"I feel compelled to share my experience after ordering cupcake cake & balloons for a birthday celebration from this location. First, the floral/balloon dept is completely over priced for what they offer. I sorted through the floral selection, ever single roses & mixed flowers bouquet were withered. They were nearly completely withered, not just a little bit so I had to do without flowers from here. The balloon selection is very limited, the foil balloons with ribbons are over priced, they all look very similar not much of a variety, and the attendant lack creativity in dressing them up. The pre-made ribbons that hang from the bottom of the balloon is made of confetti paper which fall apart very easily, and the attendant didn't know how to attach it to make it look cohesive, she just stuck it on to the balloon with the packaging paper which looked horrible. That entire dept needs to be trained to have a more creative person & a floral specialist to handle the work needed. On to the bakery dept, the cupcake cake was a complete disaster. There was a ridiculous amount of icing in between each and every single cupcake, which resulted in a total mess when serving it to our guests. I've ordered cupcake cakes few times in the past from various bakeries, this is not how they're assembled, icing is not necessary between each cupcake. In addition, there was an insane amount of icing on top and between for the very small sized cupcakes that were in the order, and the decoration was subpar. The decor looked like beginner art work. I encourage them to put some effort into training employees in the bakery, though some things should be common sense, evidently not everyone takes certain things into consideration. As for the floral dept, they could use an employee/manager to keep a close eye on the fresh delicate flowers. Over all, this is a clean store but the specialty depts need specialists &/or a lot of training. While checking out at the customer service desk, the 2 employees (one of which did the balloon) made a comment to the other about something I questioned, which is very unprofessional, childish, & rude "customer service". The low moral is very evident here. The location not far from here offers much better service and variety."

"The Campus Way South location needs a thorough cleaning. Floors is filthy. Fresh greens are always withered. Do they bring unsellable food from other stores to get rid of at this location. The cashiers are rude. They need to change out the evening crew. Even the store front areas are filthy. Do they ever sanitize the carts. People take the carts home with them. Put trash, dogs, and no telling what else In them. They are scattered through the adjacent neighbor hoods."

"Staff were very helpful. Sales were OK, but the regular prices were a little high. They had a nice section of health foods. The watermelon crates had several broken and spoiled ones."
