"This Macy’s had a skeleton staff at 11:30 am on Thursday (1/4/23). I walked around the entire area trying to find someone to ring up items that I wanted to purchase. A stock clerk sent me to a service register near the entrance which was also the online shopping service register. No cashier was visible. I went to the doorway of the stocking room to see if there was a sales person. She responded to my hello and came out. Then, she said that I had to wait a few minutes while she checked in some online orders. I told her that was unacceptable, so she reluctantly waited on me. As a senior, I shop during the day so I appreciate when stores are adequately staffed in the morning."

"This is specifically for the Fine Jewelry Department on 12/16. If you're wondering why sales are most likely below estimates, it's because you had 6 people working the counter but only one person was providing service to your in-store customers. The rest were packaging to-go orders and after being told to wait, the line walked out after 15 min."

"This Macy’s is okay. They didn’t have what I was looking for but there are plenty of other good products. Women clothes are great. They have perfumes and shoes. Some accessories too. They also have things for kids and men. Customer service is not great, just okay."

"I went to the fragrance department because I had an issue with a new bottle of fragrance sprayer stopped working. The lady whom I couldn’t honestly believe was the manager could not fix the issue and tried to give my grandmother a half bottle of watered down $156 fragrance that was a tester as a solution. Her attitude was unacceptable towards us. And she obviously needs customer service retraining."

"Went to the Bowie MD Macys and I was surprised how the place has gone down. The dressing room pictures the doors are broken and smudge Mark's are on the walls. So many clothes were left in the room I had to take them out so that my Mother could us the fitting room. The room had no privacy and was not clean. Every time for the last two times going to the shoe department I've had to wait more than ten minutes for someone to come to the register area. This place needs some quality control and please hire some people."
