Westfields Marriott Washington Dulles

"January 2024: Stayed here for three nights. There was a big mix-up when I got my room. They gave me room #344 and when I entered the room, I was shocked to see that the room looked like someone was still occupying the room. It was a mess with open and empty liquor bottle, Starbucks coffee cup, bed was all messed up, towels on the bathroom floor, lights were on. I also saw a man's ring on the nightstand. It was very bizarre. I got out of there quickly in case someone came in and wondered what I was doing there. I went back down to the front desk and they were a bit confused and surprised. I showed them the photos that I took. In all my years traveling, this was the weirdest thing I have ever experienced. Got a new room and it was okay. Rooms are big and fairly spacious. My king size bed had king size pillows. That's always nice. The pillows seemed to be at their end of life. Bed was fairly comfortable. Sofa was a bit worn. Wasn't comfortable when I sat down. HVAC was loud and kept cycling on and off. Was very hard to get a consistent temperature. HVAC was free definitely a negative about the room. Shower was good. Nothing fancy but still good. Pressure and temperature was good. Their restaurant was under renovation. So they set up food in a third floor ballroom. Tried a burger and beer. Food was good. Location is pretty good. Easy to find. Self parking is free. One other comment is that the place is huge. Got to walk very far. Would I stay here again? Because of the room incident, I would have to reconsider this place."

"If your family needs a place to gather consider this Marriott. It was clean, comfortable and beautifully landscaped. It is an easy drive to and from the Dulles International Airport in Washington, DC. In December 2023 there was a lovely two-story Christmas tree in the lobby. Both rooms and suites are available. The exercise room had Lifetime fitness equipment, free weights, an indoor & an outdoor pool, and whirlpool. Paved walking trails were available on the grounds. There were several rooms for business meetings, family, holiday, or engagement/wedding celebrations."

"I loved everything about your hotel. The people, the layout, the services. Please, please step up your breakfast. For the caliber of your hotel it should have been so much better. The food itself was not bad. But the options and where the food was located - were something I would see at a Residence Inn (which has a different but wonderful purpose). Your regular restaurant was great, the food (garlic Parmesan wings - meaty and tasty). Your selection of beer, wine, and liquor was nice. But the waiters never brought it when I sat down. It was an after thought. Yes, I would stay here again."

"The rooms at this hotel are beautiful. Well appointed and very comfortable. The location was fine as I was attending a conference and did not have to leave the hotel for anything. However, the service was horrible. I was at a conference for teachers and was treated rudely from the time I walked in and it continues until today. There was a charge made on my credit card that was in error and I can not get anyone at the hotel or Marriott to help me. I am thoroughly disgusted by treatment I have received and can not recommend them to anyone."

"Went for a Gala Dinner for Reset180. Plenty of parking. There were couple events happening at the same time, however the staffs were all friendly and attentive. I had a great time. Food was delicious and the staffs cleaned and brought the food in a great manner. Never leave our glass half empty too. Overall it was a great experience. Didn’t get a chance to take pictures of the decorations other than the food. I recommend this place for your parties, events or conference."
