Comfort Suites Dulles Airport

"Absolutely disgusting: cleanliness, lack of service, and failure to deliver what'sbeen advertised on their website. We booked this accomodation specifically for the 82° indoor pool; however, we arrived to find the the water was only 60°...AFTER my 4 year old jumped in and could hardly breathe. We found out after this that the pool wasn't even supposed to be open, yet the gate was wide open, poolside sign shows 82° temp, and all access doors were open and unlocked.. WHAT?!!! They claim to enforce a "strict no smoking policy" which was immediately proven false when we checked into room 223. It was as if that room had been used for smoking several packs a day for years. They apologized when we complained and immediately put us in a different room, but did NOT offer to assist us with moving all of our bags. How this place has a 4/5 rating is insane! 1/5 is gracious. Do NOT recommend."

"I paid to park at this hotel as they offer shuttle service to and from the airport. I was told to call ahead to request a shuttle once I arrive at the airport, so I did. Then I was told to call once I reach 2P. I had no idea where that was but as I exit the terminal, I saw 2P in front of me and called the hotel back. Told them to have the driver pick me up from the arrivals gate right in front. I was told the driver would be there in 15 minutes. I stood outside in the cold after a 16 hours flight for an hour and no one showed up. I called the hotel back twice and both times woman kept saying the driver will be there in 5 minutes but he never showed up until I called back for the 3rd time and I was told to go downstairs in the baggage area. The moment I see the shuttle guy, Tony, he starts shouting and screaming at me. He was highly unprofessional and disrespectful towards me. He was mad that he had to pick me up at 2pm when he could have been home. He did not even help me with my luggage and went on making rude comments to me the entire ride. When we arrived at the hotel, he told me to grab my own luggage from the shuttle as he was not going to touch it or help and walked away. I went inside the hotel to ask if there was anything else I had to do before I take my car and the lady at the front desk gave me the worst attitude ever. Both Tony and the front desk lady needs to be fired immediately! They are lucky I was exhausted from a 16 hour flight or I would have called the cops on them immediately. Nobody deserves to be treated that way especially when I paid for the services. Shame on them!"

"It wasn't as pleasant as would be expected. The rooms are thin, and some have connecting doors. I unfortunately heard far too much sensitive information from the next room occupant. The breakfast was meager; eggs, sausage, toast, bagels and Cheerios. No fruit. It was evident either management is cost saving, or just not attentive enough to details. For example, in the room the iron cord continually tried to retract, causing juggling of hot iron, cord, and clothes. They give you 1 very small combination shampoo/conditioner. Overall 5/10."

"Our family is dealing with remodeling 2 bathrooms at the same time. We just need an inexpensive place to shower and change for a few weeks. The staff is very friendly and the location is within walking of restaurants and shopping. The rooms are no frills but for us it's perfect. They are used to long term guests and can offer competitive rates."

"I have stayed at this Comfort Suites before, that is why I selected it. One of the amenities was free shuttle service from the airport to the hotel. Never mentioned you had to call for the shuttle. After about an hour I called CS and was told, yeah, you needed to call and someone would be there in about 15 minutes. 30minutes later the driver arrives in a van I am guessing was 20 years old. I had a difficult time locating a seat belt. The driver was using his phone while driving. The long and short of it, next morning I took an Uber back to the airport."
