"Just came back from a January stay at this lovely Leesburg bed-and- breakfast. Absolutely beautiful B&B offers wonderfully romantic environment located on a gorgeous 10 acre estate. Hosts Daryl and Frances were lovely hosts - so welcoming and certainly talented chefs! Enjoyed a delicious 2 course breakfast that exceeded our expectations. Already planning our trip back in spring. Highly recommend!"

"If I could give this place more stars I would! We had a girls weekend here and we’re treated like queens. We were welcomed with glass of bubbly by the fire when we arrived. The rooms are gorgeous, with soft sheets and very comfy beds. The breakfast was yummy - the best French toast I have ever had! Getting an Uber to visit the local wineries was a bit of a challenge but we finally got one. The owner even offered to take us when she saw us struggling! A MUST DO!"

"Hands down the best bed and breakfast I’ve ever stayed at. Worth every penny! Wayne and Leslie were great hosts along with their yellow lab Eddie. Lots of thoughtful extras like a fridge upstairs stocked with cold drinks and ice cream and a coffee station upstairs for early risers. Also, our bed was crazy comfy and cozy and the house is absolutely spotless, not a speck of dust to be found. And of course, breakfast was huge and super yummy. Do yourself a favor and stay here!"

"Leslie and Wayne are the consummate hosts of their beautiful and comfortable B&B. They recently hosted our small wedding party on July 4th and went above and beyond to ensure everything went smoothly. This was our second stay with them and it was once again both memorable and enjoyable. Each room is very well appointed, the rustic stone and woodwork and all the furnishings are first rate, and they welcome you and treat you like old friends. The beautifully landscaped grounds offer plenty of places to sit and relax and the pool is the perfect place to beat the summer heat. Leslie and Wayne offer scrumptious and filling breakfasts, great coffee and teas, and throughout the day you have free access to a refrigerator full of cold drinks, snacks galore, and some type of fresh baked goodies. We have not been to a finer, more relaxing get-away than Stone Gables B&B. Book it. You won't be disappointed."

"Stone Gables is by far the gold standard for B&Bs … the cream of the crop. My wife Ruth and I have been to several very nice B&Bs over the past 30+ years, but none of them come close to the elegance and pristine accommodations offered at Stone Gables. The owners, Wayne and Leslie Tharp, are beyond amazing. They make you feel like family from the very first minute you meet them. The Inn itself is very charming and cozy, with many rooms and nooks available to congregate with others or to relax and read a book. Homemade cookies, snacks and beverages are always available. Everything is extremely clean, spotless and bright. The guest rooms are gorgeous and have very comfortable mattresses to allow for a great night’s sleep. Then there is THE BREAKFAST … Oh My Goodness! We have never experienced any breakfast this delicious. They offer five or six different options every morning, each of which is to die for. Everything is fresh, homemade and cooked to order. The bottom line is that Wayne and Leslie put their hearts into everything that they do and truly want you to thoroughly enjoy your stay with them. They are remarkable people and the real charm at Stone Gables."
