"Wow! Dan and his B & B were just what we needed. He is the kindest person and a font of knowledge regarding the local trails and history. His home is cozy and the bed was comfortable. We were able to do laundry as well. There aren’t a great deal of food options in PawPaw, but we lucked out with a Big and Tiny’s. The best wings I have ever had!! We woke to a huge breakfast spread including fresh bread, eggs, potatoes, ham, fresh fruits and coffee. Dan is the epitome of kindness, a true gem. He helped us out in so many ways. Consider yourself fortunate if you happen to cross his path."

"Our host was welcoming and knows the towpath like the back of his hand. Breakfast was good and included homemade bread. It's a shared bathroom, so bring your own soap. My bed was comfortable. It's located about a mile off the towpath and you have to ride on the road for a little ways. Paw Paw doesn't have a lot of dining choices, especially on Monday."

"What a wonderful place to stay, and what a difference Dan and his guidance and advice made on our trip down the C&O towpath. Dan's house was the first lodging we took on our trip, and it was the perfect way to start off the week. Dan and Luanne are so kind, and so hospitable, and so friendly...you simply couldn't ask for a place that feels more like home than Dan's place. This trip change my life, and Dan and Luanne played a large part in that - We can't recommend it, or them, highly enough."

"We stayed one night at Dan's Bikepath B&B, stopping in Paw Paw enroute to Little Orleans the next day. Dan and Luann went above and beyond when we found out our daughter made a wrong turn on the trail and was lost. Dan put our child's search above all other priorities and dropped everything immediately to assist. Thank God we foung her due to an attentive neighbor, and thanks to Dan who helped us retrieve her bike from the woods later that day. Besides this tremendous hospitality and caring, the house is cozy and accommodating and felt like home to us. The breakfast was outstanding and gave us enough calories to make it easily into Little Orleans the next day. We are hoping to do the trail again someday and will visit our new friends once again. "Dan is an exceptional host, and his home is comfortable and friendly. My brother and I had to alter our plans last minute and stay in Paw Paw during our Pitt to DC bike trip. Dan handled everything with ease, friendliness, and flexibility. We had a delicious and hardy breakfast, with great conversation. Perhaps if Dan were a poor host or bad cook, we would have wanted to get back on the trail earlier. But I don’t think it’s in his nature. Would recommend to anyone on the C&O."
