"TL;DR - dirty facility, pushy providers and disrespectful office staff. We brought our newborn baby here for her first check up after seeing the good reviews. We will not be returning. The facility is filthy, with stains on the walls and ceilings; also there is also no separate waiting room for well-visits/newborns and kids who are sick. We were seen by CRNP Mbah - she was very nice, handled our baby well during her exam, and offered good advice, however on a follow up call, stated it was mandatory to return for both a one week follow up weight check, and a two week repeat metabolic screening blood test. Nowhere in her vocabulary was the term “informed consent.” I don’t want to expose my newborn, with her vulnerable immune system, to unnecessary germs. My wife and I weighed her at home, and review of the Maryland State law states that newborn metabolic screening is NOT mandatory, that parents may refuse with informed consent. Yet the provider and then the office staff answering the phone condescendingly lied to me and my wife about this. I called back to obtain our daughter’s medical records so they could be sent to a new pediatrician and they screened my call and refused to answer it until the fifth time I called. Back to the filth - my baby started having congestion soon after our visit, and my wife came down with a URI and a fever of 103F. She hasn’t had any other exposures. To summarize our experience: dirty facility where your healthy kid will likely get sick, patronizing providers, and unprofessional office staff."

The front staff is courteous, professional and at times overwhelmed with calls and sick patients. They do a great job fielding the pressure and demands."

"My four children have seen Dr. Ganunis since birth. I could not love this practice, or our doctor, more. He is calm and answers any and all questions, without being even the least bit condescending. He took a health concern of one of my children’s very seriously; calling me after hours, and getting me into a fantastic specialist much quicker than I could’ve on my own. I am so attached to Pavilion, that I would not even consider moving out of the area. We are lucky to be patients here."

"We have been going here for 13 years. Dr. Goldstein is absolutely wonderful!!! He is the pediatrician for all 3 of my kids. Many of the other doctors are great and pleasant. 3 stars because of some (not all) front desk staff. It has gotten worst over the years. For a pediatrician office, they could be a little more welcoming and friendly. At least smile while greeting you or checking you in."
