"Dr Mountcastle and his entire office are a paragon of excellence. I was referred to the office to address what appeared to be an urgent matter with a DVT in my leg. I literally was sent from my family practice doctor to Dr Mountcastle and upon arrival he took me directly into his scan room where I learned I had a completely different diagnosis which required several ablation procedures. I had a procedure once a week for a month and just received an all clear. Everyone on staff made a meaningful contribution to handling my condition and never ever did I encounter anyone who was snippy, or dismissive. They all treated me with great respect and care . I have struggled for years concerned I was dealing with blood clots only to be relieved it wasn’t blood clots but severe inflammation. Dr Mountcastle swiftly diagnosed me with a specific condition where blood was being pumped through undiagnosed tears in the vein in my leg and the blood was pooling around my ankle causing unbearable swelling and pain. My problem has been identified and solved and I will be traveling much safer. Thank you ! ."

"I’m very happy to find Dr. Mountcastle. I had a good size lipomas on back of my head, and Dr. Mountcastle successfully removed it and stitched up very nicely so the scar is not noticeable. He is a definitely a highly experienced and talented surgeon. Initially, I went to a dermatologist for the consultation and removal. The dermatologist thought it was a cyst but realized it wasn’t a cyst and couldn’t remove it after cutting my head about 1 inch. The dermatologist stitched back up and sent me home. I felt really bad thinking that I might have to live with this for the rest of my life. On the other hand, Dr. Mountcastle knew exactly what it was and how to remove it by looking at it. He has a good sense of humor and confidence. Everyone involved with the procedure was very kind and knew what they were doing.
