"I have had an annual pap here for the past 3 years. The time before last they put me in the room at the end of the hall and forgot about me for 2 hours. I had to re-dress and walk out to reception and question what was taking my doctor so long. I complained about how it's unprofessional to leave a patient sitting a room with only a drape on for 2 hours and no update if the doctor is running behind. Come to find out the nurse didn't let the doctor know I was there, so the doctor thought I was a "no show" and moved onto her next patient. Also the reception always seems short staffed. When you walk in the poor receptionist appears swamped with work. When you call she is so busy that she puts you on hold for 5-10 minutes. This practice needs to get with the times; we live in the digital age. Not every comm has to be over the phone, and records shouldn't have to be mailed to your door."

"Dr. Felluca delivered two of my babies and I had a great experience. I have also seen Ruth, (the PA) quite a few times and she was very thorough and friendly. Barbara who works up front is also very personable and I enjoy talking to her every time I come in. I recommend this practice for any OBGYN needs."

I came to them many years ago traumatized from my first pregnancy and they have handled my anxiety and complex medical history with patience and understanding ever since. "I have been going here for for years and have had issues every now and then but nothing like now. I have requested my medical records for over 1 week and have yet to receive them. The first initial call I was told there is a $20 charge per page, which is crazy because legally in the state of Virginia you can’t charge more than $30 for medical records in total. Maybe she meant .20 cents, not sure. I am also told they would fax my records to the new office I would be going to, I give them all the information they need, believing it would be done, since I spoke to the office manager in person and over the phone. A week passes by and I show up to pick up my records and they know nothing. The office manager gives the “short staff” excuse, which I get, I work in the medical field as well. However it does not take over 1 week to fax medical records or have them ready. I left the office again and was told “we will send them today, I promise”. I call my new place and was told they still have not received anything from Perfectly Female. I called them and they state “the chart was misplaced, we are doing it right now”. On top of all the medical records issue, their staff leaves voicemails with wrong information, they leave a voicemail to state all testing had come back normal this was 2 weeks ago. And I just now received a call stating this isn’t the case have to now get blood work done AGAIN for the 4th time because once again, they didn’t have enough. As someone dealing with a high risk pregnancy, this is completely discouraging and negligence on their part. I hope they have success with improving this, but I will NEVER come back here after these experiences over the last few weeks."

"I have mixed feelings. Ruth Fischer, the PA, is one of the best doctors I’ve interacted with. She listens and takes her patient seriously, and explains each option and potential outcome. On two occasions she has solved a problem that other doctors haven’t addressed for years just because she is more engaged in patient care than most practitioners seem to be. The overall office is kind of a pain though. Some of the phone staff are rude and terse, they make it really hard to communicate with your doctor. Their records system is antiquated, there’s no online scheduling, payment, or messaging and no electronic prescriptions. If the administrative experience was consistently better I’d be giving them 5 stars."
