"I recently bought a Liv Intrigue X E Plus Mountain bike from Jim at Bike Lab. From beginning to end, the experience was extremely positive. It is great dealing with a bike shop where the owner is involved and enthusiastic. The bike seems to have some limited distribution right now, but somehow Jim performed some magic and got me one pronto. Amazingly enough, this bike has full power and comes in at under 40 pounds. My previous E bike was too big and it was riding me instead of me riding it. I love this bike I have about 10 rides on it. I had a hard time stopping riding it and getting back to my analog mountain bike because it is so much fun. I am under 5 foot tall, and had a hard time finding a bike that would fit me. Jim introduced me to this extra small frame, and it is perfect for me. Jim goes above and beyond the call of duty. He was great to deal with. "Absolutely fantastic experience working with Jim when purchasing both of my EVILs. I drove all the way from the greater Washington DC area on three separate occasions, if that says anything. His attention to detail and dedication to his customers is unmatched. The first time I came out, I spent about 5 hours trying out bikes. He happily answered all of my questions, and made on-the-fly modifications to the bikes as I put them through their paces... Including swapping a fork out. When Jim had a frame/fork available for a custom build out, I jumped at the chance.
