"If I could give a more negative review, I would. This clinic should be closed. After my experience and reading others I feel not only is the office harboring Racist feelings but they treat the customer very bad. They stuff your pet full of cheap dog treats as a way to gain their trust. I belive this office should be closed down and this vet not be able to touch another animal EVER! Somebody will one day sue her and she will get stopped. Our pets deserve the best and if you treat they parent bad you sure will treat the pet bad."
"We do NOT recommend Dr. Kristy Bennet! She performed a routine spaying on our dog who regurgitated during sedation. She was returned to us bleeding from the nose. When we called, Dr. Bennet told us she had noticed, but failed to tell us. She then developed severe scar tissue issues in her nasal passages causing her to ooze mucus from her nose constantly. She couldn’t breathe or smell well, snored, and developed anxiety as a result. While we understand accidents happen, we did not appreciate her callous attitude and disregard for our dog’s obvious discomfort telling us it was a behavioral problem but all too willing to charge us for anxiety meds and regular antibiotics. Long story short, our dog became aggressive and when we contacted the breed specific rescue, we were told she did NOT have behavioral issues, but rather couldn’t smell or breathe well due to the injury sustained during her spaying procedure. Plus, they told us that the vet prescribed meds were too much for her! Also, Dr. Kristy Bennet has no bedside manner. She is quick to recommend very expensive treatments and is condescending in her delivery of information. She informed us it would ONLY cost several hundred dollars a month to give out then diagnosed 11 year old cat with diabetes proper treatment. This was after an $800 bill for bloodwork and urinalysis. When we informed her we just couldn’t afford this raising three teenagers on an electrician’s salary she was very obviously disdainful. Dr. Bennet does NOT know breed specific information either. She informed my son that his Ragdoll purebred cat was overweight at 16 pounds and told him to put him on a diet or he could develop severe health issues. My son came home feeling horribly about himself as a caregiver. I explained to him that a male Ragdoll weighs between 15-20 pounds. Much relieved, he never wanted to bring his cat back to Dr. Bennet. In conclusion, please make sure you read all the reviews before taking your fur baby to Dr. Bennet! We hope this helps you make an informed choice as you look for an exceptional vet to meet the health needs of your pet(s)!"
"We had to let our Doberman cross the rainbow bridge on 7/14/22. The staff was very accommodating and caring! Absolutely recommend this animal hospital."
"I absolutely adore Dr. Bennett and the staff at MVAH. I have a very, very large dog who is not a fan of going to the vet and everyone here has always been so welcoming, patient, and understanding. Dr. Bennett treats both me and my dog with respect, I've always felt her to be extremely honest and compassionate, always offering several possible solutions, and making me feel comfortable in whatever decision I make, always calls to follow-up on my dog's progress or condition even if it's after a routine visit. Being a full-service hospital, it might not be the cheapest option around but in my opinion they are MORE than worth it."
"0 stars for this place. What they did to my dog is unacceptable. April 3 was his last time in that place. Never ever taking my dog back to that place again. I was told they had no groomer in that day but they could still trim my dog's hair. My brother took our dog to this appointment and after his regular check up the vet took him for that trim when she brought him out he no hair they had shaved it all off and my dog had scrapes all over his body they actually hurt my dog. My brother never complains so he just paid for everything and left. If I would have been there I would have not paid for that grooming service charge of $65 and probably yell at someone because I was mad as hell when I got home and saw my dog like that. I pay a grooming service because I don't want to hurt my dog and that's what these people did. I could have done a better job myself and I have no training at all. My brother told me that the vet didn't even apologize for what they had done to my dog. Not only did they hurt him they left patches of long hair in some places of his body. Whoever did this had clearly never done it before or was really mad and took it out on my dog. I don't think these people care about the pets they see they only care about the MONEY. My dog was whining that day because he was hurting. Yesterday I had to take him to the emergency veterinary because I couldn't see him in pain anymore."
