"If I could rate this group of professionals any higher than perfect, I would. Working with Connie on a beauty plan for my wedding was the easiest part of planning the whole event. She was fun, energetic, an expert in all facets and someone I could communicate with easily. The Art of Beauty Skin Care Associates team (Connie, Laura, and Becky) were instrumental in making me and my family look and feel beautiful on the big day. "Discovered one of Frederick's gems, The Art of Beauty a few months ago. The customer service is fantastic - I've had mani/pedis done with Becky and today I had a blissfull 90 minute massage with Darlene and my winter facial with Connie. All three ladies made me feel welcome and like an old friend. The services are top notch, the salon itself is clean and the individual rooms are spacious and have their own charm. And Connie's white cran-peach & ginger ale is delicious! Highly recommend and I'll be back. It's worth the drive from Charles Town! "When I sat to get my eyebrows threaded I made sure to say I "only wanted to be cleaned up". The lady asked if I wanted my brows thick or thin? So from the beginning she ignored my request of just getting them "cleaned up" because my eyebrows are already thick if I wanted them cleaned why would she ask if I want my brows thick or thin? Silly me ignored this and just stated "thick". I get up from the chair and HALF MY EYEBROWS ARE GONE !!! It took all of my strength not to cry in the store. When I told her I didn't like them because they were thin, she told me that "when you get a shape eyebrows get thinner". I NEVER SAID ANYTHING ABOUT A SHAPE ! I asked for something so simple, just a little clean, and I got half my eyebrows removed ! I will never return because she can't understand simple instructions."
