"I had a very nice stay at the Hilton Garden Inn. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. The place was very clean. Rooms were nice and cozy. They clean your room every day without you having to ask. Great location."
"I stayed on 2 different occasions. The rooms are very clean and the bed is comfortable but I was surprised to find curtains torn and frayed on my second night and also a shower control handle that felt like it would come off in my hand. How can both of these issues be overlooked / left uncorrected? Also, I was astonished that as an Honors Member, there is NO breakfast included, not even toast or cereal. That is inappropriate at the price point of the room."
"I just spent a week at this hotel. We were in town for a wedding and this was the location chosen by the couple to be wed. In all we probably had 15-20 rooms booked associated with our wedding group. Before coming, I had read several negative reviews about this location and was a little hesitant on staying here. I was completely surprised and found this hotel to be clean, safe and the staff was absolutely the best. I don't think I walked past the front desk even once without someone saying "good morning" or "have a nice day". They were very accommodating and handled any request quickly and with a smile. Our room was very clean as were all furnishings. I noticed that one of the light bulbs in the bathroom was out (4 lights total, 3 worked and one was inop). I was going to mention this to the front desk but after our first room cleaning, it was working. Housekeeping must have reported it themselves and had it replaced. That is attention to detail. If I'm ever back in the area, I won't even bother to search for hotels, I will stay here. I highly recommend this location if you are in area for work or pleasure."
"The hotel was nice and had easy check in. It’s close to food and shopping. There’s was also food and drinks available on site. What I didn’t like was that the fridge in my room had a really loud motor so it woke me up pretty often throughout the night. The toilet needed a new stopper so if I flushed I would have to make sure the handle went all the way back up so the water would run for hours."
"This place is vile! The rooms were small, filthy & smelled awful, as did the hallways. The doors slammed shut when people went in & out, and shook the entire room. My door squealed so loudly that the entire floor knew when I was coming or going. The air conditioning barely cooled the room. Not to mention, our room was above the mechanical components for the hotel, so there were atrociously loud noises when the window was open. The towels were like sandpaper, and smelled of pee. There was dust & dirt all over floors, mirrors, shower, etc, and some disgusting looking mold in front of the shower. We asked for maid service twice but they never showed up. The mini fridge didn’t keep anything cold & the microwave was putrid. The staff was less than helpful or pleasant. I will never stay here again, not even if you paid me. Edited: I’ve added more photos showing the shear putrid condition of the room; And judging from the other reviews, this is a common occurrence. Apparently, the responses from the “general manager” are just ‘lip service’ because clearly nothing has changed. This place is still as dirty & vile as it was was months ago when previous reviews were left about the disgusting rooms. To continue, there’s caked-on dust next to the fridge where you’re supposed to put your food/drinks. Folded up paper to stabilize the dresser; Dust & stains all over the office chair; Stains on the curtains; Peeling wall paper. It’s absolutely vile! You could probably find better conditions, and cleanliness, in a motel in the middle of the ghetto. I itched constantly, and felt utterly disgusting, whilst in the room. I didn’t want to sit or lay anywhere where my body would touch the disgusting furniture or linen. Honestly, I’ve spent more on gas, daily, than this room cost because I can’t stand staying in it. I’d rather drive around, randomly, or sit in a parking lot, than spend 5 minutes in this hell hole. I even used my hotspot to work in my car because I felt ill in the room. I wouldn’t recommend this place to a homeless person because they deserve better… anyone does."
