"I've been going to this salon for over a year and always have a good experience. My standards are high but not unreasonable so I'm surprised by some of the complaints. Gel does not work on my nails and peels off but the powder dip always lasts 2-3 weeks or longer...and I am veryyy hard on my hands! Sometimes my tips chip but it's easy enough to file it down on my own. Tom is my go-to guy for nails and Emily takes care of my lashes regularly. I'm a very happy long time customer! And I also enjoy the Fairfax location too =)"

"Recently moved to the area, and this wasn’t a pleasant experience. Unfortunately, the nail tech was in a rush. This rush job showed in the poor quality of the finished product. Not a good feeling to be made to feel like you’re an inconvenience. Bottom line: she made no attempt at trying to recreate the design I requested, although we agreed she would and if it didn’t work, we’d do something else. When it came time to paint my nails, she unilaterally decided to do a French tip with 1 color, I just said “ok” since she couldn’t get me out of there fast enough. Each tip is painted differently / unevenly; shape of the nails is off and I left the salon with gel polish over my cuticles. Won’t be back and will be headed to my regular salon, that’s very out of the way, to re-do the poor work."
