"Our remodel was scheduled for Fri 9/1. I took this day off work. It's 9/1, I get a text from Chris at 8:30 asking when I they can begin. I said they could start anytime, I would be home all day (again, took off work). At 11, I get a call from Chris saying he picked up the carpet and was on his way to drop it off. He said his crew was working on a project that ran behind and they would not begin our remodel today but could start tomorrow (9/2). Very disappointing, since I used a vacation day so I could be home, but things happen. Chris confirmed they would begin next day. It's 9/2 @ 9:30 and I get a text "Chris had to run out to the deck project as he was needed out there..." So, this is the 2nd day they were supposed to begin. At this point I should have gone with another company, but they had great reviews, so I decided to give them a chance. I told Halee they could come tom, 9/3 She responded with "okay, we will be in touch". After 7 hours of no update, I reached out to see if they would be starting next day, no response. It's now 9/3, I'm assuming they aren't coming. Then I get a text from Chris at 8am saying he would arrive soon. Glad we didn't make any plans. @ 9:30 Chris does a walkthrough with the contractor. Turns out he still needed supplies. Chris left to get the supplies and the contractors began. There was a 30-min window where the contractors sat outside with nothing to do b/c Chris was not back. Chris came weeks prior, took photos and measurements of the area. There was no reason he should have had to get supplies the day of. The wall portion of our project was mostly done on 9/3. At the EOD, I asked Chris if the project will be done next day, he said "yes it should be". Next day (9/4) I have no update from Chris. At 10:30, I send him a text asking what time they will start, nothing. At 11, I sent another text asking him to please advise. Finally, he responds "We are about 30 mins out". Chris shows up, it's him and 1 other. They add drywall mud to the wall and sand some spots, done. I was surprised, as there were still multiple things that needed done (carpet install, paint railing, paint wall) Chris said the project would likely be done TODAY. I asked him when the project would be finalized, he said he needs to find someone to install the carpet b/c he isn't comfortable doing it. He said he would schedule someone to install the carpet the same day he finishes the wall & railing. He also assured me he would not bill us for the remaining balance until the project was done. I get a text from Chris on Friday 9/8 (4 days later) saying he found someone to install the carpet tom (9/9). I said OK and asked if the project will be FINALIZED same day, no response. 9/9 someone shows up at our door to install the carpet, said that he was hired by Chris. I've heard NOTHING from Chris so I texted him to see if he would finish his portion of the project today, no response. As the contractor finishes up, he asks if we heard from Chris b/c he was supposed to pay him after the install. At this point, I'm pissed. I called Chris' phone, no answer. I call Halee, tell her the contractor is done, and Chris is supposed to be here to pay him. She said she would contact him but was unsuccessful. Halee asks ME to pay the contractor. I told her that was an absurd request b/c by paying the contractor what he was owed, my balance due to Chris would be paid in FULL for an incomplete job, so she attempted to reach Chris again. Halee texted me "I could not get a hold of him either I apologize. I guess pay the gentleman what you see fit..." Chris hired this contractor for a SPECIFIC $, and now he is MIA, and his counterpart tells us to pay the man as we see fit? If we were cruel, we could have paid him $100. But we aren't and paid him what CHRIS promised him in writing. Now, we have paid our balance due to Men of All Seasons, and the job is still incomplete. At this point, we were done with this company, the experience was a headache from the beginning. So, I called Chris & told him not to come back, we will finish the job ourselves."

Their pricing was very reasonable, and they were trying to reuse any materials that were in good condition. They showed up on time and did a great job on both projects. They kept me updated on the additional supplies they needed and were very transparent, showing me the additional damage they found. Both repairs look great, and I’ll have them come out again when I need work done."
