"Circa January 2021, I took a road trip down south from Maine to rescue a dog. My vehicle wound up breaking down in West Virginia and, thankfully, I ended up at Pennington's Auto Center with Ricky and his guys. I truly can't say enough good about Ricky and the crew there. I was in an unfamiliar state, a ways away from my newly adopted dog, and my vehicle was sadly irrepairable. I was stranded and incredibly stressed. Ricky not only let me hang out at the shop for hours (even long after they closed) until I figured out a plan, but he graciously coordinated my transportation to the airport. He was kind, went out of his way to support me and make me feel safe, and allowed me to leave my car parked in their lot (free of charge) until I worked out a way to get it back to Maine. I'll never forget how helpful and hospitable Ricky was. I will always be thankful to him. 10/10, highly recommend this auto body shop & crew of mechanics. A trustworthy, hardworking and competent team. And, just in case you're reading this and wondering - yes, I eventually united with my rescue pup, Trubby. "Unfortunately, I cannot in good conscience recommend them. Although kindly enough, the gentleman who worked on my exhaust system completely ruined it. Not long after I got serviced here my car started rattling and struggling very hard whilst accelerating. I had to take it to another mechanic whom I trust. I now either have to get a completely new exhaust system or have them try to weld it in a way that stops the rattling. He told me either the gentleman did not know enough about exhaust systems (as even the hangers were installed upside down), or he purposely did a botch job. I'd like to believe it's the former. It was my first time going there and I am sad to say I'm never going back. Just a word of caution for anyone who decides to bring their vehicle here. Perhaps they have another mechanic who is more knowledgeable in their trade and does a better job but please don't chance it if you can."
