"Very receptive and helpful staff! The Dr seems very knowledgeable. I’m glad I can trust this office to take care of my furry loved ones!"
"The reviews here prevented me from taking my cats here. I want to be very clear about the kindness, professionalism and care that my sick cat received here. Dr. Vyfhuis is the real deal. He’s kind and clearly cares about your animal and you. He is the best vet I have met after 8 years in this area. I met at least 4 staff members who were fantastic, caring and kind as well. I called them on a Friday because my cat was very sick and our usual vet was not able to see him. I was hesitant to take him here and was debating if I should take him to a 24 hr hospital instead. The cat was having breathing issues and after hanging up, I believe it was Dr. V that called me to offer other local options, because he was worried knowing how serious the issue could be-not urging me to come to him, simply to let me know that if my cat was having breathing issues, it was probably very serious. I called a local urgent care that he recommended and was put on a wait list. I called my vet again to stress the seriousness of the situation, no openings. When I called PPEAH back, they offered to see my cat right away. I should mention this cat was very old and frail and we suspected he was nearing the end -and that morning, had taken a turn for the worse. I hoped he’d be okay, but knew in my heart he wasn’t. My cat was the priority that day for Dr. V and his team, but not to our usual vet. When we had to make the decision to say goodbye to our sweet kitty, we felt well informed about our options, and the entire team at PPEAH treated our cat -and us humans- with dignity and respect. Thank you for being there for us, for your expertise, knowledge and kindness and for being real. You couldn’t ask for more in a health care provider for your family, feline, canine or otherwise!"
"Hello, my name is Dustin and I have a service dog named Tia. She is a boxer she is the love of my life. I try my best everyday despite my disability to take good care of her we were without a vet because the last one we were with mistreated us, it has been nothing but remarkable at this new vet. We love it a lot. They are very accommodating and the doctors very very friendly due to my disability is hard for me to understand a lot of things but the young gentleman who works at the front and the doctor really everybody there, but my experience has been with these two mostly , but they have nothing but been very good with my disability needs, and with my dog, we could not be more happier having my service dog means a lot to me because she helped me a lot with my disability stuff and terms of trying to stay calm and focused. She’s the best ESA dog , anybody could have thank you so much for everything that you do for us"
"One thing that stands out about this place is that staff always answers their phones and is always friendly and great at responding to emails and voicemails. I really appreciate that they ensure to maintain great communication. One other thing is that this is the only vet that sees small exotic animals in the area which is great for those of us who cannot drive far away to see an exotic vet. I also appreciate ample availability for appointments and flexibility in rescheduling appointments. Very accommodating office. I had a rat tumor removal on an elderly rat which was a risky procedure which I was unsure if she would survive. So far 24 hours later she is running around and happy as can be like nothing happened. And this was a huge invasive tumor on her belly. I’m impressed with the doctors precision and expertise to perform such a surgery on a tiny fragile animal. Update: Came back in for post surgery update and Deanne was very friendly and helpful and let me sit inside since I mentioned I did not have a car to wait in. I found this very considerate since it was freezing today. The doctor gave great post care advice and was very pleasant to speak to today. Love this vet, been here years ago at the Old Town location and glad to be back again years later."
"Horrible place they butchered my dogs ear crop!! They’ll take you money and treat your pet horribly, and not take responsibility for their action. Dr. V was suppose to crop my cane corso’s ears but he butchered them and gave me Grimlin, Bat, Gargoyle, dumbo ears .. I’ve added 2 picture after taking my puppy to a real vet and paying again to have them redone, This time professionally, I asked to get a partial refund. But got offended and DR. V said they were “perfect”. You can be the judge, the pictures don’t lie. Save your money and the headache, Drive the extra mile and go else where!!"
