"This was my first visit to Chesapeake Animal Clinic, and I left considering changing my veterinary practice for all of my pets! I really cannot say enough about how much I appreciate the kindness and consideration of each and every one of the staff members I interacted with both over the phone, and in person. My Doberman was injured, and my regular vet practice had no availability to see her for weeks. That is how I ended up here at Chesapeake Animal Clinic. When I called to schedule my appointment, someone answered right away, I was not placed on hold like I normally am every time I call my other provider. I was able to get an appointment quickly despite not being a current client. The staff here even volunteered to call and pull my dog's records from my other vet for me. Upon arriving, there was not a crowd in the lobby, the receptionists were friendly and got me checked in right away. A tech came out to get Emory's weight, and we went right into a room. I wish I could remember our vet tech's name, because she was so kind and compassionate with Emory. Both she and Dr Whitley took time to assess Emory's situation and check for injury. It didn't feel like a rushed appointment, or like they were trying to suggest things as a cookie-cutter solution, or to increase the bill, like I have experienced in other places. I left feeling confident with the care plan, and I also really appreciated the personalized note at the bottom of the invoice about Emory's visit. Although it's never expected, it was also really nice to see that this practice recognizes military and first responders as well. I will definitely be back-- hopefully not for an injury, but definitely for my pets preventative visits. Thank you so much for taking good care of my girl."
