"The staff was wonderful. Everybody was friendly attentive and helpful and took the time to explain every option possible. I got to stay with my pet the entire visit, Even during ultrasound and Urinalysis. They explained the possible concerns, diagnosis options and treatment options, and were transparent about pricing before I arrived and during each step when I asked. Amazing staff!!"
"VEG was absolutely amazing for my cat Henry’s emergency visit for a urinary blockage- they got him in and seen immediately and got him feeling 100 times better in his visit. I am so thoroughly happy with the care from Doctor Aaron, Cady, and Grace. Thank you all so so much for helping my stinky cat Henry."
"Amazing experience at VEG, from the initially phone call to check on wait time to leaving the hospital. I called and was greeted by Michelle, she was extremely positive throughout the entire call, staying calm and answering all my questions to the best of her abilities. Once I arrived , was greeted by Michelle and the entire team and was immediately taken back where all the Vets are. We were quickly checked in and put in a room. Within minutes we were getting checked on by Ashley, she promptly administered the care that we were looking for our dog. She was calm and very understanding of the situation. I had some previous concerns about my pets medical allergies and they were all understanding of my concerns. Overall time spent at the hospital was alittle under 2hrs. Prices were reasonable for the emergency visit, would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for immediate care, Thanks again to all at VEG!!"
"If I could give VEG 10 stars I would. My cat gave me quite a scare on Friday night. I immediately called the first 24 hr vet I could find - and they had an 8-10 hr wait. So I googled again and called the next available option - Veterinary Emergency Group in Elkridge. They said they could see him in an hour. The second I walked through the door, we took him back and he was immediately examined. He had a urinary blockage and couldn’t pee. After a quick evaluation, the decision was made to have surgery. I never once had to leave his side, even through the surgery. Charley ended up staying at the facility just under 48 hrs before getting released. It was a very scary and sleepless weekend - but I truly can’t say thank you enough to the amazing staff at VEG & the wonderful care he received. I stayed overnight Friday sitting by his cage - and every time the staff checked on Charley - they also checked on me. They offered me snacks, drinks - even a murphy bed to sleep on. And when I broke down crying on more than one occasion - they met me with compassion. They even gave him his own ipad to watch cat tv! What a blessing VEG is to the animals and owners they serve. I hope I never have to go back because I hope Charley stays healthy - but if I ever find myself in that situation again, I know the first place I will call - VEG!"
"VEG is a fantastic place to take your pet. Drs McNabb and Aaron were both great… along with some other staff, including Kaitlyn and Karen. Kaitlyn sat with my pup during every procedure, giving her lots of love, allowing her to stay calm while they worked. Super stress free environment for the animals. The open concept is great. I didn’t experience much wait time either time I was there. Cost was comparable to other emergency vets, but doctors were very clear with pricing and also which procedures were medically necessary."
