"My hair is not my biggest concern. If something happened, I'm not afraid to trim it shorter and let it grow back. With that frame of mind I was visiting the area and had some extra time one morning so I decided to book a haircut with D - the wonderful and talented apprentice. I was expecting a lot more time in the chair and running backs and forth to another barber to ask questions but I was in and out in 20 or 25 minutes and he was confident and did great on his own. D was awesome! He was very easy to talk to and friendly. Maybe because he's new and hasn't heard it all yet but I actually felt like he cared and asked questions because he was interested in more than just cutting my hair. He was also very talented and efficient with his tools. He not only held a great conversation, probably one of the best, if not the best I've ever had in my time in the barber's chair, he also left me looking great which is no easy task. The real test that deserves high praise is when I woke up the next morning my hair still looked great. No, it wasn't full of product, it was just well cut and I like waking up to less bed head, more good looks. I wish you the best D in your quest to work magic on all the heads of hair that come your way. Thank you for taking great care of me! I'm glad I found this shop near my hotel while in town and will have to check it out again next time I'm in town."

"This place rocks both literally and figuratively! I have been a patron of the barbershop for several months now and always have a great experience. The location is, as others have noted, a fun mix of old school and punk/metal. I have only seen one barber, Dustin, but I have no doubt all of them are equally skilled. As a final bonus, I look forward to the fun conversations I have with the staff while I receive my haircut and greatly admire their community involvement.
