Reviews
"Chanced upon this restaurant and was pleased that we gave it a try. The restaurant's friendly staff confirmed that the food is halal. Wine is served on the premises. The food was great - tasty and satisfying. I hardly had the time to take photos for this review, as I couldn't wait to dig in! I eyed on the dessert menu and was intrigued by the ethnically infused flavours, e.g., saffron rice pudding, and mango cardamom cheesecake. Will be back with the rest of the family to try them!"
"On my first trip here and hungry while searching for lunch spots, I was drawn to this place by its name, “bindass”, which means carefree and relaxed in Hindi. The atmosphere of this place was fitting of its name, the decor was elegant and it felt like sitting in a rural cafe in India. The dishes were pre made and I got to choose them to add to my bowl. They were fusion style, freshly prepared, and had mild flavors on the sweet side. I went for saffron basmati rice, vindaloo, paneer combo, and also ordered a wada pav. The wada pav is nothing like the authentic one, but it still was flavorful in its own unique way. I am glad I got to try this place and enjoy the whole experience."
"I’ve visited this spot three times in a week so that should tell you how much I enjoyed it! Also took my mom and she loved it. Wanted something new and exciting due to dealing with all the same fast food options around. I first tried the chicken tikka masala (amazing! Chicken was so tender) and the salmon moilee (twice, yum! The sauce is spicy and complimenting). I ordered from the pre-made menu so the entree comes with a grained and salad. You can add another side for a small extra fee. If you have a sweet tooth, go for the sticky toffee pudding!!! The service was quick. There’s an assembly line you can order for there or to-go. And it’s quite cozy in there, ambiance and space wise."
"This is our second time visiting. Both times the food was very good and at a great price. This time we had the chicken bowl and salmon bowl both were very good. For the salmon next time we will get it with rice as opposed to the rice noodles. We split an order of samosa. Comes in a set of three. Were a nice addon with great taste and perfect frying. Also had a glass of red and a glass of white wine with dinner. Both wines were quite reasonable and paired well with the food. Their mango cheesecake is very good. The saffron rice pudding is tasty but next time we will just go with a mango cheesecake for each instead of splitting desserts."
"I recently visited this lovely Indian restaurant. The staff were friendly and welcoming .During my visit, I had the pleasure of chatting with the skilled chef ( the man in the picture ). Although I thoroughly enjoyed my meal, I suggested to him the idea of incorporating a greater variety of vegetables in the menu. To my understanding, the restaurant's smaller size posed some limitations in terms of expanding their selection, but nonetheless, it was still a delightful experience."
