"Beware hundreds of 5star reviews with no pictures and no mention of what they ordered. I ordered Chongqing noodles and pork, meijun pork buns, plum drink and the rose cake. Buns had a single meatball that tasted ok, but the noodles were just an oily, tasteless bowl of nothing. I can’t recommend. Contrast the reviews on this page to Red Pepper in Towson, which I tried after this unsatisfactory meal."

"This is the best and most authentic Chinese food I have had in my 5 years in Baltimore. Why hadn’t I found this place earlier?! I ordered sweet tofu soup(甜豆花)，deep fried dough sticks (油条)and braised chicken + potato stew(黄焖鸡). All very good. I highly recommend this place."

"So here’s the deal. I didn’t care for this place at first when it opened up. But I was picking American menu items. I thought you know what let me order some beef bone broth noodles and see the vibe. The meal was so humble but bursting with authenticity and flavor. I finished the whole thing. The vibe inside is so clean, calm, and relaxing. they even put phone charging stations on the bar table. A must go to for the noodle dishes. Will try more stuff later."
