"Had a group picnic at one of the shelters. Lots of tables to accommodate a large group & tables were in good shape, well maintained. Very nice place, also great playground for children, & a nice walking trail well marked. Reservations are important during summer months, I imagine, but maybe not so much in off seasons."
"Great place to get your walking or jogging in. Surrounded by trees, you get your shaded walk. This one mile walk has benches to sit near at every quarter mile. Should anyone suffer from health issues. Depending on the time of day or just the day, there could be alot or a few people. However, it is still a quiet area. There is only one thing. I noticed people had more dogs that they were taking there to walk. I felt like I was at the dog pound. I love dogs but I also like my walks. Guess it was just a day that everybody had the same thought in mind. To go walk their dog. Above all, I find it to be pleasurable."
