"Very surprised that Marriott would have this in their hotel. It looks like an old conference room they turned into a night club/restaurant. The music was so loud we were screaming at each other & never saw the server. If you get in late, opt for room service or Uber eats."
"I stayed at the Marriott at Metro last week (Aug. 25-27). Fire and Sage is the restaurant inside the hotel. It was somewhat late when I arrived, so I decided to get a bite to eat. The restaurant was not busy but the server that seated me was also the bartender. I paid $30.00 for 6 wings, fries, and an iced tea. The sauce on the wings was very unpleasing. It tasted like it was poured directly from the bottle. That may not be necessarily bad if the sauce is good. This sauce was not. My biggest complaint was I never had another interaction with my server. No would you like a refill of tea or can I get you your bill. I almost decided to not leave a tip but did afterward. Total spent was $35.00, never again."
"Waitress took 10 mins to even acknowledge us. 40 minutes to come take our order. 40 minutes for us to get a check. Crab cakes were disgusting I barley touched them, and most waitresses would notice when the food wasn’t touched something was wrong. No refill on drinks when needed. Clearly not customer oriented. Kids pizza was good and generous size. Mom got fried rice which was pretty good. Again CRAB CAKES DISGUSTING!! Service HORRIBLE."
"This restaurant is located inside the Marriott at Metro Center. I had breakfast here one morning and was pleasantly surprised. The service was great and food came out really fast and hot. I had a breakfast sandwich with bacon, egg and cheese on sourdough bread. It was huge and reminded me of the sandwiches that my Mom makes. It came with breakfast potatoes, which were also good. The price was fair and reasonable. I wouldn’t hesitate to return if I’m ever staying in the hotel again."
"Outstanding menu options. My entire family enjoyed it. We received exceptional customer service. They mixed fruit juice drinks for my kids. During one meal, my daughter ordered fresh fruit. Our server told her he knew something that would really make it taste good and brought her back a cup of whipped cream. She was more than happy. The salads were awesome. Evening happy hour specials were great. Great synergy among the staff. The host was always nice and checked on us in addition to the server. You can view the kitchen and chefs cooking which was cool. We’re staying at the Marriott. The kids wanted to try other food however the last two days chose Fire and Sage for each meal."
