Applebee's Grill + Bar 2408 Brandermill Boulevard Waugh Chapel Shopping Center, Gambrills, MD 21054

"Caught up with a couple of friends for drinks and food. Since I'm not a big drinker, I went for a diet pepsi. Its not my favorite, but it fit my needs at the time. Decided to get the AYCE riblets, shrimp and chicken nuggets (boneless wings). Started with the riblets with bbq sauce and they were....food. The quality and composition of the riblets have been questioned for years.. The fries were hot, crispy and well seasoned (S&P). There were 4 "racks" of riblets on the initial plate. They were well cooked, tender and tasted pretty good. After finishing those, I got some Buffalo chicken nuggets. They brought them out 4 each on two plates with some fries. While I prefer the traditional wings, these were pretty good. They were drenched in Buffalo sauce, IMO one of the better chain restaurant sauces out there, yet they stayed crispy. Got some bleu cheese to dip them in on the side. We sat at the bar and the Bartender was cool and patient. She gave us great service. Kept my drink full and knew just when to check on us. Great experience overall."

"Christmas Eve Dinner with my family at Applebees was awesome. Our waiter was Ryan this time, usually we have John. Both are equally superb and attentive. We ordered Bourbon Street Steak which came sizzling hot and it was delicious. For dessert we had Triple Chocolate Meltdown and it was supercalifragilisticexpialidocious."

"Waiter was awesome! Took our order, not writing it down, but what was delivered was wrong. I know he got it correct because he came to the table and notice immediately that it was wrong! Another order for the table-ribs and fries came out cold. I’ll let you decide on the corrected order of nachos (burned) very disappointed. They weren’t busy so that was either a sign we should’ve gone somewhere else or the food should have been perfect!"

"I get it, this place isn't the place to go if you're expecting exceptional customer service...but I have my go-to meal here and they never disappoint. I absolutely love their Chicken Wonton Tacos, side Caesar salad and French Onion Soup (not pictured). I don't know what it is but their French Onion Soup is on point!! If I'm being honest, if the ever get rid of my go-to meal, I probably would not be coming here at all. Service is subpar and the vibe here is eh."

"Went here for an early lunch on Saturday after being in the area. It wasn’t busy but there were a decent amount of customers. We were seated quickly but our waiter took almost 10 minutes to say hello I’ll be with you shortly. After acknowledging us we waited another 10 or 15 minutes before she came to take our drink order. Because she was so slow and disappeared often we placed our appetizer and main order all at once. Long story short other waiters checked on us and made sure we were ok which was greatly appreciated! However our waiter was horrible. I’m not sure if she lacks confidence or common sense or just didn’t care but she barely checked on us an was too slow…so if you have a waiter like that put them on a weekday early shift where it’s not many customers. The good thing which was I guess most important is all our food was hot and fresh!"
