"Otani Japanese Cuisine - Gambrills, MD Otani, is OMG fantastic. I have been three times now and have had a consistent excellent experience. The sushi is expertly handcrafted and delicious. The fried rice is perfectly made and spiced. The vegetable tempura is timed right in the fryer and is crisp and flavorful. And not least, the gyoza was boiled and then fried on one side giving you the best of both tastes. I will always want it that way from now on. The service professional and expedient. Go to Otani!"
"Otani, hands down, has the best sushi and sashimi in the area. I got the sushi and sashimi combo including miso soup and a chef speciality roll. The fish was so fresh and tasty, and sliced to perfection. The chef roll was icing on top of the cake. I would recommend this place to anyone who loves high quality sushi and an authentic experience."
"The wife and I were in the mood for sushi, so we decided to try it out in person (we’ve had take out before). Our server was very attentive, the food was a mixed bag. The Takoyaki was very good and flavorful. However, my miso soup was very bland and tasted like it had been watered down. My sushi dinner was decent, although I do wish there was a clearer description of the Tri-Color roll. I was not aware it was wrapped several layers of cucumber rather than rice. Ended up not being very filling. I need to go back and try some of their more normal rolls, as I am sure they would be good."
