"Great price for good food. It wasn’t crowded for Saturday night. Crispy chicken was the best but duck was salty."
"the food is good but the service was terrible. We ordered to take out, we sat on the table next to the cashier, the cashier (may she is the owner) yelled loud at us "get out, you are not seating there, and she pointed by the door and said "sit over there", the whole restaurant was empty, we saw only 4 table in the corner at the restaurant. Then I went to Roast Duck and tried to tell her which duck i want, every time I opened my mouth, she yelled loud "I know". I was curious what does she know, I didn't even finish my sentence, every time I started she cut me off. Then she yelled loud, get out there and sit over there. What's wrong with her, my daughter was with me and she was scared, she asked me "what's wrong with her". When my food was ready to pick up, I told her she was rude to me, she was apologized but I won't accept it because she scared my daughter and me. We didn't do anything, we paid for the food and we didn't ask for free, and we don't want this kind of service. The food is good but there are many chinses restaurant around. I heard it's bad server and I don't believe until I saw in my eyes and hear it myself. Never go back."
"I normally don't give bad reviews. I would ignore and just don't come back as I understand it is hard to maintain a business in the current economy. But I have to write this review. I came here couple times as a quick stop, the foods are decent... hit and miss. Today, I ordered several entries. Beef chow foon - completely tasteless, the chef probably forgot the beef and threw it in at the last minute. I have never tasted such an awful chow foon. Sour cabbage with pig intestine - the intestine wasn't throughly cleaned. Black pepper steak - totally tasteless, the beef wasn't fresh, and not authentic at all. The other 2 entries were decent, could be better. However, I am most upset with is the guy at the cashier. I think he is the owner. He was rude and extremely unprofessional. I simply asked to see if I could change one of my orders. (I wanted to change pig intestine to tripe or beef.) It was just a question. He gave attitude, raised his voice and suggested me to read the menu carefully. He laughed and criticized me with another customer there. Yet, he changed the order for another customer right infront of me. He could have simply said no it was too late to change or so, rather, he yelled and criticized me. I can accept the chef's bad day BUT not rude customer service. I will definitely not coming back. There are many restaurants that offer better quality of foods and customer service around the area."
"We wanted to take a friend out for dinner in his neighborhood and came across this neighborhood eatery. Wasn't sure if it was going to be an authentic restaurant after seeing some mixed reviews but we were glad that we gave it a try. We made reservations for party of 5 and they were very accommodating as we only called in one hour before our appointed time. The menu looked like it had a mix of Chinese American and also Cantonese cuisine. The servers spoke Mandarin as well as Cantonese dialect.I could tell that their chef is Cantonese as the flavors were very clean not salty. We ordered the crispy roast pork, sweet and sour HK ribs, Deep fried flounder, seafood and tofu hot pot, seafood cantonese noodles, as well as string beans stirfried with beef. Everything tasted delicious and the right amount of seasoning. It was so good that we decided to go back for more roasted meats the next day on our way to the airport. We bought two bento boxes - roasted pork, bbq pork and soy sauce chicken with rice and veggies. One box was enough to feed two of us. Prices were very reasonable for the amount of food. Great neighborhood eatery!"
