"If you're looking to indulge in some sushi, you won't be disappointed with this place, which offers a variety of lunch specials that are good enough to satisfy even if the sushi isn't top-notch. I recommend this place because it has a much larger selection and higher quality of sushi than the sushi buffet restaurant at Fairfax Mall. I went back here after almost a year and was very satisfied, and it's a place I would visit often if it were closer. It's a bit of a drive from Northern Virginia, but if you can make it here on a free weekday lunch hour, you'll be happy you did. As a side note, if you pay with cash, you'll get a 5% discount on your bill, so it might be worth bringing some cash with you."

"If you've got $25 cash-money in your pocket and a love for raw fishes, Yuraku's Tuesday-Friday lunch buffet is far and away the best value on the entire eastern seaboard. It's a few bucks more if you're paying with credit card, but still so worth it since you're still looking at basically the same price as two decent rolls pretty much anywhere else. So if you can eat at least two sushi rolls in one sitting, you'll be getting loads of value from the buffet. Which not only has a wide selection of rolls, loads of nigiri including salmon, tuna, unagi, and more - it also has a fantastic hot bar with tempura and a selection of fried meat and seafood that's arguably worth the price of admission alone. And if you only have time for it to-go box, the selection pictured below was $26, and is easily the best deal you're going to find in the DC Metro area for this selection of quality raw fishes."

"Two years ago, we would not touch sushi. Our neighbors, Tim and Malinda, frequent this place and we finally went under their "mentorship"! Happy to say that we are venturing out further, not quite to sashimi level yet, but nonetheless, givining it a try. We now go often and absolutely love this place. The food is excellent, the service is outstanding and it is a great time. Over the past months we have tried many rolls and dishes. Some of our favorites rolls are the Lady Killer, Treasure Island, Maui Black Pepper Tuna, Three Amigo and Yami Spicy Tuna. If your are in for an adventure, try the Tim Roll or the Malinda Roll, yes, named after our neighbors! I always get seared white tuna on fire! Love it. We still also do the regulars like cucumber roll, avacodo roll and tempura vegetables! Starting with salad and edamane is always enjoyable. Finishing with the mango or (my personal favorite) fried bananas is the way to end a fantastic meal. Pictures below are a collection of several visits but hopefully it will help you see the results. "We went there for dinner on one of the weekends and the place was super packed. We got seats faster though. The service is great and the place has a good ambiance. However, the quality of the food needs some attention. The food wasn't bad but we had better sushi in so many places so they could do better with some of the items. The chicken and shrimp teriyaki was very sweet and the chicken didn't taste right. Some of the sushi was good but others were okay. Overall, I would still recommend this place."
