Chipotle Mexican Grill

"The short Mexican guy in the front doesn’t know customer service. I asked to bill my food he responded in a rude voice and kept on giving a smirk. I got a feeling they care less if you’re not Mexican and don’t speak Spanish. And people in the back are chit chatting instead of helping customers. I have been to this store several times but not disappointed like today."

"Update: my first review from 3 years ago is below… this place has gone from 3 to 1 in my opinion and I will not go back… we placed a mobile order and went through the line inside to add a salad. The picture below is a carne asada taco my daughter ordered online that came with very little meat… If you order from inside they said they were out of carne asada, fajita vegetables and cheese… the sign on the outside reads an 11 pm close time… we arrived at 9:30 and they were cleaning up… the grill was already clean which meant they weren’t cooking anything else…. Maybe that’s why they were completely out of so much food… one of the employees said if you order online you can get cheese (we did have cheese in our online order)… we were all so disappointed… next time we will go the extra mile to the kentlands! We always try to order from this Chipotle since it is close to home. It is very popular. The only thing is, it is not as consistent as other locations. If you order double meat, you get the same amount as if you ordered single. The good is usually fresh, but some how it just is off a little."

"Decent usual food; mediocre, and halfhearted service.Got a burrito on Tuesday night around 8:30 : food reliably good but due to understaffing (or a long break) , my burrito was getting cold by the time I sat down. Tortilla should be at least warm if not still hot. And it of course fell apart. People behind me (crowd of six) were serviced while my food sat there half done for 4-5 minutes, then another 4-5 minutes to pay for it. The line was clearly understaffed . Person later returned as crowd built up but needs attention. Cashier / food prep person could work at being friendlier (short & clipped) or at least acknowledge the long wait. Atmosphere: Cashier/ Staffer’s friends sat slouched at a table with legs & shoes on the chairs long after food (or just drink)was consumed. This isn’t a private hang-out. Someone more mature to give the place presence like they have at that popular chicken place may make a more appetizing experience. So instead of socializing and chitchatting, how about emptying out the trash bins which are overflowing? Lots of uncleaned tables ( none wiped in the 35 minutes I was there ) & dirty floor with napkins and straw wrappers. Overall sloppy presentation- with lots of better competition of late in Germantown. It doesn’t inspire confidence in food as a result, despite the trademark Chipotle taste. Also, the music ought to be one notch lower - especially given the lack of sound absorption and bad acoustics. It shouldn’t sound like a night club and the music shouldn’t just be obscure acts for 20-something’s. Next time the Kentlands one will be given the nod instead."

"Rice was not fully cooked. It was hard when chewing. Chicken had no flavor. Not sure what going on at this location but seems the workers are not focused on preparing quality food for customers."

"Good food. The people serving rushed me so much I had to go back in line to order the remaining half of my order because they did not even hear it when I ordered! Luckily there was not a long line, but that makes it even more frustrating because they rushed me while there were not that many people behind me, they could have totally taken the time to pay more attention to my order."
