"First time at Vito’s. Only went because I was gifted a gift card. I am glad that I was. The food and service was great. I had the veal steak and crème brûlée for dessert. My wife had the chicken parm and my children had chicken tenders from the kids menu. I Had a beer and wife had Prosecco. The food was delicious. I usually don’t get dessert, but dinner was so good that I was like let’s see what dessert is about. My whole family got dessert and it was worth it. Overall, I highly recommend making Vito a dinner stop for anyone that likes good Italian."
"We had a wonderful dinner experience at Vito’s Ristorante in Cockeysville. The menu offered a great selection of antipasti, salads, and entrees. Our choices included Seafood Linguine, Rack of Lamb, and Pappardelle with Bison - each dish was delicious and well-prepared. For dessert, the Tiramisu and Lemon Sorbet were delightful. Our server, Camille, was friendly and knowledgeable, contributing to a pleasant dining atmosphere. The entire staff seemed well-trained and efficient. The pacing of the meal was just right, allowing us to enjoy our dinner without feeling rushed. The restaurant’s ambiance was fantastic with an appropriate noise level that made for easy conversation. Overall, Vito’s Ristorante provided a great dining experience. We highly recommend it and look forward to returning."
"Family members who were hosting us for Thanksgiving met us here for dinner on Thanksgiving Eve. As the meal progressed, it became apparent why this has been one of their favorite restaurants in the Baltimore area for the past 30 years. Following a somewhat disappointing, lightly-dressed Caesar salad, I had the veal saltimbocca. It was excellent. The veal was thin and tender, the prosciutto abundant and lean, and the sauce absolutely delicious. It came with a side of spaghetti with a flavorful marinara sauce (Note: alternative pasta sides are available at an upcharge.). My wife shared an appetizer of muscles and sausage with our hosts. It was a feast at a very reasonable price. She followed this with chicken marsala which she announced was the best she'd ever had in a restaurant. (She was either being diplomatic, or she prefers the one I cook at home using a killer recipe from the American Test Kitchen.) Combined with bread and butter, the generous portions of the appetizers and entrees did not leave us room for dessert, although we were impressed by the tempting offerings listed on the dessert menu. Finally, the service and ambience made for a great place to have dinner with family."
"Elegant, cozy, and very welcoming entourage. Food is delicious, wine list excellent. Dover sole was amazing! Profiteroli were great!Highly recommend this restaurant."
"My wife and I stopped in unexpectedly. We happened to be in the area on a late weekday afternoon and friends had just recently told us about this place. Alex was our server. She was very friendly, welcoming, and attentive. The decor/atmosphere was pleasant without being too stiff. The menu options were abundant without being overwhelming. My wife and I shared Bacon Wrapped Scallops. Delicious, but for me, I would have liked a little aoli or aged balsamic drizzled across the top. My wife had Eggplant Parm, I had Veal Francese. Each came with a side of al dente spaghetti with a very nice marinara... the kind that's not runny, and it sticks to the pasta. The eggplant parm was a very generous portion and could have passed for lasagna. Very delicious and flavorful, thin slices layered tall. The veal was thin sliced medallions with a light coating of egg/flour covered in a velvety lemon-butter sauce. (Easily one of the best Veal Francese I've ever had.) I paired mine with a glass of Moscato. The parking lot was ample, easy access, welcoming & smiling staff from the bar tender, hostess, and wait staff. The restaurant was very clean, with very comfortable seating. Most entrees were in the $25-$45 range with some at market price. You can find less expensive restaurants, but we believe Vito's brings the whole package together and there is value to us in that. We'll definitely be back, and we highly recommend Vito's."
