"Food is middle of the road BBQ (Better than some places), as a life long Marylander I enjoy the fact it's derived from a member of the original Baltimore Colts. However, $2.50 for a canned soda!?!?! It's less than $8, non-wholesale for a case of 12 sodas. Not sure why Andy Nelsons feels the need to gouge their customers on a canned soda. If they sold them for a $1, they still make cost and then some, on a canned soda... Anyhow, I'll be going anywhere else off of principle. No one likes blatant price gouging, especially, in the middle of historical high inflation across the board."
"Ribs and brisket were really good. Well done with good flavors without being drowned in sauce. Corn bread is great comfort food, really good texture. Service is quick and to go order packed well. Lady at front is very helpful and real pro."
"Ordered a pit beef sandwich today. There was no option for how it would be prepared, so it came out looking rare to less-than-medium rare. The woman at the counter who took my order had zero personality. Didn't greet me with a "hello" - not that I care, but it was clear she didn't want to be there. The sandwich bun fell apart as soon as I added mayo and horseradish, crumbling in my hands - a good indication that it wasn't fresh. Because of the rawness of the pit beef, it was stringy and tough to tear away from the sandwich. To make matters worse it had pieces of fat through out the sandwich. I've been making my rounds to pit beef places in the Baltimore Metropolitan area and this ranks among the worst - it reminded me of Boog's at Camden Yards, which is another travesty. The sauces were boring and nothing to write home about. I don't know who showed them how to make Carolina Gold sauce but their version tasted like mustard with a huge portion of pepper added. I also ordered French fries and got five large steak cut fries with some sort of seasoning on them which I wasn't fond of. Would not recommend for pit beef."
"Supremely nice folks. The bbq was outrageous good. Turkey was tender as heck and juicy. The pitbeef is stunning. The sauces will haunt my dreams with their deliciousness. The ribs tho. The ribs. Its a yes for me. Also awesome old photos cool decor and vibe and great music."
"The trifecta was enough to feed two people. Seating in the garage was very pleasant. BBQ ribs were very tender. Next time I will get them "dry" because the barbecue sauce that they came with was too spicy for me. The barbecue beans were also too spicy for me. BBQ beef was not worth getting again. The pulled pork was good as was the coleslaw and the cornbread. Cornbread alone is worth coming back for."
