"The manger Erin carry's a very apathetic and uncaring attitude with customers. Very unreasonable person. Any waitress worth their salt will inform a customer there will be a charge for a substitution. No, they want you to sit and read the whole menu while they stand there taking your order instead of just telling you to find out there'll be a charge. We were led to believe there'd be no charge for a vegetable change on an order. We get the bill with an xtra $2.00 charge on it. Erin the manager said its on the menu. So instead of the waitress just telling us we were expected to sit there, WHILE she was taking our order and read where on the menu it says that instead of just telling us. We had to fight with the mgr to get the charge dropped because we weren't told there was a charge. Our waitress said she'd get us a to go container. We were ready to go. She never brought it to us. We had to ask another waitress to get one. This is a very poorly manged and uncaring to customers needs restaurant. A very unfriendly, apathetic and unattentive to customer needs staff. If you want a nice restaurant experience in Jamestown, NY, don't go to Applebee's. The apple has worms in it."

"We were here 6 days a ago. Food was absolutely disgusting waitress was not friendly. Had to send my son wings back. Bbq sauce was burnt and they brought out thought they were different ones when we got home they put the same wings into a to go box. Won't return"

"Food was amazing. Service was good all around. But I guess what I am lost upon are gift certificates. It seems like they tell you one thing and then something else happens. Like when we called, they said that we could use all of them at the same time. And then they tell us that we can only use a certain amount, and something about how they put it in for transactions. It would have been nice to know that, what if we didn't have any money? Thank goodness we did because we had to pay like $20 extra. So I'm somewhat annoyed because if we didn't have the money we would have been in a pickle. Good food. Good service all around. But just like everywhere else they need to figure out how to accommodate people with certain transactions. Because apparently after you complain about one Applebee's, you still wind up paying for your complaint. Just giving a little heads up as to what can happen with gift certificates."

"My wife and I stopped in for oriental chicken salads. We have been eating them for years and this Applebee's were the best we've ever had. Great service also. Food came out very quickly"

"A safe choice for a tasty dinner. We've ordered a few things to get a little taste of everything. The steak was cooked properly, ribs had goood flavor to them and the dessert was amazing. The restaurant was running short on cutlery that day which was a little odd but other than that we've enjoyed our dinner. It's very well priced and I liked the laid back atmosphere."
