"Nice and friendly dental practice. I've been going to Dr. Newland's for around 25 years. From cleanings to fillings, bridges to crowns, they have taken good care of my teeth."
"Great dentist"
"This place is fantastic! Lovely people. Great service! Both the staff and dentists are wonderful, and I received excellent care."
"After having a wisdom tooth erupt and knocking out fillings, root canal work etc. Newland made caps. They were huge, ill fitting, and painful. One cut up into the gum and did not extend to the gum line behind my tooth Food constantly got stuck and Newland would claim to remake the caps (three times) but the cap always fit exactly the same with the same problems. I think he just had them re coated with porcelain. He was constantly trying to shave the caps down because they hit my tongue and cut it. The cap was so fat it hung over my tongue. Finally I complained to my insurance company who sent me for a second opinion. I found out during it that not only had Dr Newland shaved off the porcelain he had made a hole in the cap and left it in my mouth, never mentioning it to me. Every time the cap fell out (about 10 times) it pulled a little piece of the tooth with it. At this point the tooth is gone. After 5 years I was eligible through my insurance for a new cap. I went into the office to have the cap, which had again fallen out, re cemented in place (I guess to my gum?) and asked Dr Newland what the next step was regarding these caps. His response was I should just leave the cap I had in place "maybe it will last three weeks, maybe three years" Oh good three more years of pain. According to him my mouth was too small and he would have a hard time getting in there. There would be size issues (cause a tooth is now gone?) I have terrible insurance Really? he accepted all the money he could get when they gave it to him and best statement ever made by a dentist yet "I know plenty of people missing their secondary molars and they do fine". I know plenty of people who don't go to useless, pathetic, untruthful dentists and they do better than fine. Stay away!!"
