"I guess it's a decent place to put a kayak in, but kinda shady otherwise and not in a lack-of-sun way. Lots of litter. Gravel lot that needs attention. Once you park and walk down the hill to the water, that's it - there's nowhere else to go but in the water. It's pretty misleading to call it a park. I went yesterday hoping for a short hike along the water but was really disappointed. It's also located at the end of a dead end, unkept, deserted road (Golf Cart Dr). Just gave me bad vibes and I kind of wished I had my pepper spray. If the county fixed it up a bit, I think it could have the potential to be something beautiful. I didn't stay long enough to take pictures, sorry!"
"This isn't much of a park as it is a gravel parking lot adjacent to the river. It is strewn with trash and most first time guests will realize that it is more commonly utilized by delinquent teens for questionable activities made evident by the abundance of axe body spray cans and cheap fireworks. "Keep Loudoun Beautiful"? By whom? Plenty of effort went into painting the picnic tables vibrant colors but very little into keeping it clean."
"This park is pretty much in disrepair. It's not very clean, very small, and seems like it hasn't been maintained in quite some time. To be honest, especially given the irony of the name, Loudoun may want to consider giving it up or rebranding it. I think it's mostly a boat launch for goose creek these days, which isn't even a great spot for that. There's no easy, smooth path down from the parking area. Our dog loved to swim there though so it gets a bonus star just for that."
"There is nothing here but a gravel parking lot, a few older picnic tables and a spot you could launch a kayak. There is nowhere to go from here, no trails and not really even good water access for fishing. Try Kephart bridge landing instead."
"Stinky patch of land next to the lovely Goose Creek river with no trails. Probably a good spot for taking your canoe out. Avoid wasting your time here. I see a great opportunity to cut a trail next to the creek and run it along the same."
