Ritt Dental

"I've waited a couple weeks to post this review. The short version is I will no longer recommend Ritt Dental to anyone I know for their dental care. I was treated with very little respect during one visit in particular. I'd recommend going to Rittenhouse Dentists instead (just two blocks away). Read on if you care to. In early November 2023, I went to the office for my third appointment, and for the third time saw a new dentist. As I sat in the chair after my cleaning, I was told I needed a root canal and the procedure would be so complex that I'd need to go to a different office in Center City. This was shocking; I had no pain in my mouth. Then, the dentist reversed course and told me that, in fact, she could simply refill the cavity that moments ago required a root canal. After leaving and scheduling the cavity refilling at Ritt Dental, I decided to seek a second opinion. Obtaining my X-rays would be crucial in doing so, and the front office was shockingly rude when coordinating with me on this relatively simple request. I was in a state of fear and high anxiety (did I need a root canals? that's a lengthy, invasive procedure), and I was not met with any compassion. Rittenhouse Dentists used additional tools, like an intra oral camera, and talked me through why I needed neither a root canal, nor a cavity refilling."

"Wow Doctor kennedy and the whole entire staff was amazing. Customer service skills were definitely (A+) Everyone was so warm and welcoming. . I felt like I entered a spa on How well they treated me, My teeth looks amazing. Doctor kennedy also did a little work on my teeth today which she was very fast and efficient.. I could tell she was very smart and confident with what she does. This was also the first time I had a pain free cleaning done.. I'm so horrible with names but she done an amazing job. This was my first time with this dentist and I am hooked..."

"I am older, on blood thinners, and had a deep filling, under a crown. Dr. Kennedy and Jessica were supportive and competent and worked well as a team to complete the needed work and control bleeding. As always the waiting room is an inviting, art-filled space, and the support staff efficient. A+"

"Dr. Kennedy was great. She did a great job with my cleaning and exam. I felt she was very attentive, to ensure I was not in pain, and very responsive to my concerns. I will definitely be requesting Dr. Kennedy for my next visit."

"Ritt dental is private, clean and SO professional which I love!! They'll have you in & out quick while giving the best care. During service’s the staff are always down to earth, friendly and informative. In my opinion one of the BEST !! Especially the dentist Ms.Patel she’s so kind and sweet."
