"Very nice hotel with suites style rooms. full kitchen with pots and dishes and full size fridge & dishwasher. All the basics. Nice large bathroom. Smaller bedroom the king size bed and giant TV. Nice living room and kitchen combo with another giant TV. Plus a desk. A swimming pool and 24 hour gym. A nice breakfast with hot food served 630 to 9am. All you can eat breakfast. Pet friendly hotel. Highly recommend for family and the business traveler."

"Every time my parents come to visit, I have them stay at the Residence Inn by Marriott Columbia. They just had the entire hotel renovated so everything is fresh and new! My parents love their breakfast (they refuse to let me take them for breakfast in the morning, but I also think they are frugal). The staff is SUPER kind and attentive! The front desk staff were also very kind to my parents, saying good morning each day, and patient with them when my father lost his room key. My mom can be very particular and, especially since COVID, does not like to have the room cleaned every day. But she will demand clean towels, and they don't have a problem with that. They also give her extra soap and tissues. Hotel location is also very convenient to food and shopping. Yes, there's a pool and workout room, but we didn't use it. Parking can get pretty full at night."

"Surprisingly this small hotel sure made a big impression! My family and I enjoyed staying here because the rooms were huge and all of the people who worked there really seemed to like their jobs which is quite a change from other places we have stayed at. The room/suite was very clean and the AC was cool and quiet. The kids enjoyed the pool and I enjoyed working out in the fitness center early each morning and we all enjoyed our last night cooking out on the grill. Next year we will definitely come back to this hotel."

"Good long-stay experience. Stayed almost 2 months for a school. Very nice staff Good breakfast layout. Decent gym equipment with free weights, aerobic machines and pulley full body machine. Pool was good, very nice deck area with a 4 burner gas grill (they have tools available to grill with). Hot tub was closed while I was there but no issue. They warn you for stayovers that they don’t clean everyday, but still no big deal. Just glad they at least tell you. Overall great stay, would def recommend especially over the Delta hotel. Chennetta was especially helpful at the front desk. Fairly quiet part of town but still very close to fort Jackson."
