"Definitely recommend staying at The Wexley! The entire staff is friendly, helpful, and welcoming. They are very accommodating and quick to respond to inquiries as well as maintenance requests. Everything is kept neat, quiet, and the complex is dog friendly! Britney is a wonderful property manager who has been nothing but helpful every step of the way!"
"We had to leave the Wexley at 100 instead of renew due to a change in careers and looking back it truly was one of the best places we have lived. The community is clean, the neighbors are respectful and the entire organization is run extremely well by Britney. Office staff are wonderful and extremely prompt to respond to inquiries and really work to get your needs taken care of. Maintenance is prompt and professional, speaking to all staff they are all extremely friendly and make you feel comfortable. If we ever had to move back to the area I would not hesitate to move back here. Also, speaking to Britney, she has been nothing but respectful, friendly and attentive to our every need. Running a property this size is a challenge in itself and she clearly knows how to do it efficiently and effectively."
"Overall, my three-year stay at The Wexley has been pleasant. The place is undoubtedly a safe haven with ample parking, and the management team, led by Britney Brautigan, is exceptionally friendly. I’ve noticed some reviews say less than about her, but the key is to schedule a time to talk with her. She is extremely busy and time is valuable. She’s a very nice and professional person when you respect her time. The maintenance crew deserves applause for their top-tier professionalism and promptness in handling repairs. However, there's a notable discrepancy in cleanliness and upkeep, especially in buildings situated away from the main amenities. This oversight occasionally marred the overall experience. It's clear this isn't completely the fault of The Wexley but more a consequence of some tenants not maintaining cleanliness. If you spill something, clean up after yourself! If your dog has an accident in the hall way waiting for the elevator, come back and clean it up! My primary mistake was choosing a building away from the amenities, which reduced my utilization of these facilities. Nevertheless, the lack of paying amenity or parking fees is a major plus, and the property itself is stunning. Despite the occasional oversight in cleaning, I have no major complaints about The Wexley. Britney and her team manage the property commendably, considering the workload. Maintenance, in particular, remains consistently thorough and efficient. Thank you for being my first home in Maryland."
"I lived here for 3 years. From the outside looking in, the Wexley seems like an excellent apartment community. Great amenities, good location, and luxury finishes. Unfortunately, the pure incompetence and total lack of care from management ruins the experience. Once you sign your lease, all of the customer service and charm disappears. Britney Brautigan, the property manager, showcases the most egregiously poor communication that I’ve witnessed in my entire life. She refuses to speak to tenants in person, takes weeks to respond to emails, and in the 3 years that I lived here, not once did she take responsibility for an issue in the community. Trash isn’t being picked up? Blame the trash company. Break-ins and vehicle thefts happening in the community? “Security is not our responsibility.” Insane rent increases year after year? Blame the market. Management at this property is unacceptably poor. I’m giving the property 2 stars because maintenance is fantastic. They are responsive, friendly, and prompt. It’s not their fault that the building is constructed so poorly - they do their best to make it as great as possible. Unfortunately, management ruins it all. And as other reviewers have noted, they give discounts on rent for leaving positive reviews. So beware what you read. By the way - for years, their website has advertised a “full-size athletic field.” If Britney or anyone at the Wexley can show me where that is, I’ll remove this review."
"Overall, The Wexley at 100 is a great community to live in. The property is beautiful and well kept. Fellow residents seem to mid/upper class working professionals, most of which are very friendly and welcoming. What I love about the community: - The Amenities, they are actually the reason I decided to settle here. They are just as beautiful in person as they are in photos. The kids and I love the pool, community clubhouse, gym, the gas grills and the fire pit. - The close proximity to the elementary school, it’s within walking distance! You really can’t beat that. The school district itself is one of the best in Maryland, so that’s a plus too. - The apartment has great appliances and is absolutely beautiful, especially the kitchen. - Response to maintenance requests are very timely and they do their best to resolve issues quickly. - The staff here is pretty friendly and welcoming, I have no issues with anyone on staff that I’ve encountered. - Community events and food tucks are awesome here and usually occur a few times month in the spring/ summer. We enjoy the time we get to get yummy food from the truck(s) and network with everyone. What needs work: - The actual HVAC unit in my apartment is questionable. It’s the only consistent maintenance issue I have. I live on the top level with really high ceilings and it seems that the HVAC system has a hard time keeping the apartment cool in summer on the hottest days of the year and warm in the middle of the winter. - The thin walls are an occasional issue. I can sometimes hear the neighbors but what’s a bigger issue than hearing the neighbors is being able to hear people walk down the stairs, if you live in a unit that’s against the staircase. - Holding the unknown person smoking weed in the building accountable for doing so. This is a smoke free community. - Ensuring the safety and security of the property. Since I’ve been here (8 months) I’ve seen two cars on cinder blocks and their wheels stolen. The Wexley does have a security guard circling the property, so that may deter those actions from taking place in the future. I also opted for the garage so I don’t have to worry about it when my car is safely tucked away there. Again, overall I really do recommend this luxury apartment complex, it’s beautiful and I love it. The issues I do have do not outweigh everything the Wexley has to offer. Please don’t hesitate to settle here."
