"Terrible insurance company. Had our subfloors cut out and wood floors redone due to a leak and mold forming underneath our house had to pay out of pocket for hotel room for a week and was told we would be recompensated later then after a week of hotel stays the contractors.....who did a great job by the way......needed three more days and we were told by Western reserve that they didn't think insurance would recompensate for 3 more days of a hotel stay and they wouldn't have an answer for us until the end of the week......as if this wasn't a great inconvenience to us and we were just loving living out of a hotel room. Then we we returned home the floors in the dining room weren't finished and our living room was unusable due to a very uncooperative insurance company that was clearly just looking out for their own interests.....as well as not being able to use the shower because the wood floor hadn't been sealed yet not to mention their adjustor didn't even bother getting into the crawl space to see the damages but instead used our photos to make the call about how long the needed work should take.....didn't want to do his job... and then said the work should take less time then the experienced contractor said he would need. left me wondering why I pay homeowners insurance to begin with to be honest .....and all this was after a big price increase in monthly insurance payments very unprofessional and we will be shopping for new homeowners insurance ASAP"
"My fiancé received a highly inflated quote for both home and car insurance from Cheryl Russell, when asked to elaborate on the auto rates, she was short and condescending after stating “if you have any questions,please let me know” to then be met with phrases such as “ as I stated before…” and “ I have reattached the quote” as if he was incapable of reading the quote. Do not recommend"
"Absolutely awful if I could give zero stars that’s what they would get. My son’s car (not even 2 months old) was parked and one of their clients backed in it. We called their local office which was good dealing with, they then sent us to our adjuster Dee. My husband called left multiple messages and got no response. I called and left multiple messages and she never once responded to me. She is very unprofessional and there is zero urgency with them. finally got car back today. Not bad it only took about 8 weeks……………………….. I’m kinda surprised that people go with this company, we would have left a long time ago. 3.6 is the star review, that alone speaks volumes."
"Cost of home insurance is decent. But filing a claim can be a drawn out and frustrating process. My claims person Andrew Menendez will now not return calls or texts even though it is to give further information he asked for. Very frustrating."
"Someone in their party totaled my car, and have been dealing with this company 10 months now. I havw Called and left emails mulitple times that go unanswered. I went Months with out a response sometimes. None of my questions or emails or calls were ever answered in a timely manner. Sheridan really dropped the ball on me and my passengers claims. Over all this has been a beyond frustrating encounter, that I cant Even control. I felt Like I had To reach out constantly to even move the case forwards a little bit. Overall I had A hard time communicating with any agent and the agent I had was very unorganized and it was a beyond difficult situation to deal with."
