"I normally don’t leave reviews on anything but I think it’s important. I had a terrible experience with Wayne mutual. They made an error on my policy that I was paying for and I didn’t know about this until I got into an accident. Nothing went smoothly because of the error. it took them darn near 3-4 weeks just to get me a claim number so the shop can evaluate the repair cost and damages and talk with Wayne mutual it took another week and a half after that to actually get any info on my car. Every person I talked to on the phone was incredibly rude or had no idea how to help me. I felt as though I was bothering the staff and my claim agent which made me uncomfortable to even ask questions. Which it took days to get any responses back. My car ended up being totaled which wasn’t a problem since have gap insurance but the bank I financed through needed a breakdown of why Wayne mutual insurance totaled the car to start to gap insurance process. That took two weeks of jumping through hoops with my claim agent to get. I basically spent a whole month running around with no luck with this company. All I wanted was to get everything done and I feel like it took way longer to do that with Wayne mutual than any other insurance company. Please be more compassionate and kind to your customers. I understand things happen and things might take a while since it’s a process but it took a ton of my time and wasted it. I tried be kind and patient and was met with rudeness which like I stated above made me uncomfortable to even reach out. When I do get a new car I will not be going through this company again. I’m ending my policy."

"Incredible staff that is always there to help. After my daughter’s Hyundai was stolen and I had hit a deer in the same year, they were with us every step of the way. I tell everyone how great they have treated our family for years. Amazing company, thanks again for always being there!!"

"Very quick on the initial end of the claims process, then it falls apart from there. Our insurance agent has to prompt them to respond, and we don't receive appropriate or any responses for months on end to claims, valuations and disbursements. We've had two major claims in our home due to storm and water damage, with 0 response after several calls, voicemails, supervisor voicemails for our claims. Responses take months or by letter. This company's valuations and reimbursements are also way off for current day prices and they will find any loop hole possible to leave the customer stranded. We are currently researching for another insurance company while we wait on reimbursement from our last claim."

"The claims process was so quick and easy. Reporting the claim was a simple phone call, then the next day I spoke with and emailed a claims adjuster. A short time later, after my water line repair was completed, I received a check in the mail, minus the deductible. It couldn't have been easier. However, I would appreciate a more proactive and compassionate approach in handling my claim. I believe that genuine concern for the well-being of those involved should be a priority for any insurance company, regardless of the legal obligations. While I understand that duty to protect policyholders is important, it should not come at the expense of disregarding the needs and concerns of the injured party. Communication, transparency, and timely responses are crucial in building trust and ensuring a fair and efficient claims process. I kindly request that Wayne Insurance Group reassess the handling of my claim and consider improving the level of customer service and compassion provided to those who have experienced accidents involving their insureds.
