Ichiban Hibachi & Sushi Bar 20510 Route 19, Cranberry Township, PA 16066

"This was one of the more disappointing hibachi experience we’ve had, it was getting close to closing time I assume (we arrived shortly after 7) was told it would be an hour wait, to our surprise it was not and we were seating probably within 30 mins, upon being seated our drinks took a good 15 minutes or so to arrive. Which didn’t really sour our experience too much, but when the chef came out he didn’t do any of the flare or fun things you expect at hibachi, he threw his spatulas in the air, lit his grill on fire and spun his egg, the end, that’s it, no throwing broccoli in our mouths, no sake, no flare, no fun! Then cleaned his grill and left. My husband ordered his filet medium well, I ordered mine medium and somehow they came off the exact same spot of the grill at the same time. Then my daughter and I went to use the bathroom which someone had just started cleaning, instead of pausing for a moment and letting the line of 4 women enter and use the facilities he continued to clean the restroom while we all stood there uncomfortably watching. Food was descent but the experience was very disappointing. We’ll probably wait awhile before we return. $150 for 3 people(one a small girl) to just sit and eat wasn’t totally worth it."

"Used to frequent this place alot when I lived out around that area. The bartender was amazing !!!! The owners treated everyone like family !!! Such the amazing food and atmosphere for all ages. Highly recommend this place to anyone in the area. You'll never leave hungry, as the portions are very generous !!! The hibachi tables are so neat with the chef doing his thing as everyone enjoys watching something new if they never been to a place like this before."

"My husband and I stopped in after a gig and had the fortune to have a private hibachi table as no one else came in before the chef was ready. The food was delicious as always and our chef was talented and entertaining, as to be expected from an Ichiban restaurant. I usually get the chicken but this time decided to go for salmon and it did NOT disappoint. The salmon was flaky and delicious and had a beautiful glaze of sauce that didn't overpower the filet. We also ordered drinks which were both delicious. A blue lagoon and a geisha were both delightful and garnished with fruit. The birthday song at this location slaps. We saw two different people celebrate their birthday. One of the rooms even had some kind of disco party lights emanating from it like a birthday rave. Prepare to spend at least $20 a person here, but the value is in the experience. And don't forget to tip your chef and server!"

"Perfect little spot for a lunch date. The sushi lunch specials had great portions and the special comes with a miso soup or a house salad with ginger dressing. My wife ordered the spicy California roll and the hot red dragon roll. I ordered the spicy tuna roll and spicy girl roll. As mentioned above, the lunch specials were a little smaller in size but were perfect and not too much. The service was great. We just missed the lunch rush so we had about a 5 minute wait but other than that the experience was fantastic. If you are in Cranberry, PA stop into Ichiban Hibachi& Sushi Bar and try out their sushi specials."
