"My boyfriend and I were there tonight for the first time celebrating our anniversary. We both agreed that was the friendliest, efficient, and best service we have ever had at a restaurant. Our waiter was incredible and so was the bar tender. Everyone seemed happy, kind, and again friendly. It was such a positive atmosphere. Food and drinks were amazing too! We loved the pesto pizza and the eggplant parm! Owner also seemed very active and helping out staff. Definitely will be back!"

"Tables were too close! Service and atmosphere are wonderful. The food was delicious however my husband's chicken parm dish, the chicken was to tough. My gf dish was delicious however I felt it had too many tomatoes and not enough pasta. All in all a great experience."

"Went for an unplanned dinner for two on a Wednesday night. Plenty of seating (inside and patio), service was good/friendly, food was great, and it was restaurant week, so we used the special price fixed menu for $40/person, which included App, entree, and desert. There was a good range of choices. On top of that it is BYOB. I have been previously on weekend nights and the wait for a table then can be awhile."

"We had the Restaurant Week special menu tonight at AMA. Everything, as always, was fabulous! Our waiter, Ryan, was very nice. For appetizers we had the fried zucchini blossoms and kale salad; both were fantastic! Entrees were fresh fig and arugula pizza and pumpkin ravioli with sage & butter sauce. Wow! We're always full for dessert but we order it anyway :) Tonight my husband had tiramisu and I had chocolate gelato. Delicious!! As an added bonus, the owner prepared some pasta e patate with provola cheese and gave some to each table. What an amazing dish!! The food, service, and warm welcome makes AMA a shining star in Hillsborough!"

"A great Italian place hidden in Hillsborough, this place offers authentic Italian food, friendly service, and a great atmosphere. We probably ordered too much food, but everything sounded so good. The pizzas were freshly made and hot. Our waiter Bryan was very friendly and answered all the questions we had about the menu. Overall, it was a great place to get authentic Italian food."
