"These people have integrity. They accidentally gave me the wrong order when I picked up my food. When I got home I had someone calling, so I answered. The owner was apologizing that they have given me the wrong bag, but they insisted they would deliver the correct order to me right away and wanted to know where to drop it. (We of course didn’t let him deliver it, we instead picked it up) The owners are WONDERFUL. The food is DELICIOUS!!!! They have options for meat eaters and vegetarians alike. I look forward to coming here going forward!"
"Food is delish and cooked fresh, right in-front of you. The staff is kind and willing to explain the different items on the menu. The photos on their menu looks exactly like their food. Their nyc halal platters tastes exactly like the traditional nyc halal guys and their kebabs are cooked upon ordering so they’re literally fresh, tender, and juicy. Their dishes come with sauces on the side for free like hot sauce and white sauce. The price is shockingly cheaper than most places which similar food which I genuinely appreciate considering the food is also high quality."
"I used el wadi grill to cater for my baby’s first birthday party and I’m so glad I did! We had 50 adults and 20 kids, and everyone was stuffed and happy! We did the party platters, hummus, baba ghanoush, popcorn chicken and they threw in French fries and salad which was much appreciated. Everything was divine and the presentation was wonderful! The owners are such lovely people and were so professional to work with. I highly recommend them for your catering needs!"
"Stopped by for a quick bite, nothing special about the place. The chicken platter was tasty and portion was good sized. However the falafel gyro was a bit disappointing. Falafel was too hard to chew and the pita bread was not airy, made it too doughy."
"Nice small place. This is more for takeout so the store was empty, but dining was available. There were no hand held menus but a brief menu was shown on the screens. It was also served in takeout containers instead of plates because of that, but it ended up being convenient anyway. Chicken shawarma and gyro platters are very similar but good taste. The rice to chicken ratio is a lot, so less rice and more chicken/bread would’ve been nice. Overall it was a pretty okay restaurant, could improve for the prices. ✔️clean tables ❌detailed menu ❌no ceramic plates, only plastic containers and plastic silverware"
