"The guys at HP Auto have been fixing vehicles for me for years and now they fix vehicles for my kids. They have always been honest, helpful, and efficient! I recommend them to anyone in the Effort area! Jerry and Rick are awesome!!!"
"I took my van there for an engine light problem. The check engine code indicated that the torque converter needed to be replaced. HP insisted it was a solenoid that needed to be replaced instead. They replaced the solenoid and charged me $1277 for the job. After picking up the van a week later and driving it the engine light came back on indicating the same problem (torque converter). I took the van back to HP with the torque converter in hand so they can replace it. The owner did indicate that they stand behind their work. After not hearing from them for two weeks and not being able to contact them via phone I stopped by to see how the repair was coming along. They did not replace the torque and instead insisted it was something else and charged me $140 for that. The same day while driving to NY the engine light came back on. I checked the code at AutoZone and sure enough again......torque converter error code. While in NY I took the van to another repair shop with the torque converter in hand and told them what happened with HP. It took this shop three hours to replace the torque converter and another $700. And guess what, that did it. NO engine light anymore. HP says they stand behind their work. I called and spoke to the owner and told him what happened in NY. And at no time during our conversation did he offer to stand behind his work. I lost $1400 with HP because at the end of the day and after paying them I still had the same problem with the van."
"Excellent service !! Hp auto went above and beyond my expectations..I took my Lincoln MKS In for inspection and while it was there I asked them to look into a heating problem on the driver side! Many other auto places said that they could not fix it( without even looking at it) and the dealership would be the only one that could fix it and it would be very costly.Long story short Rodger took the time and looked at it for me and fixed the problem so a state inspection and a very costly heating issue resolved cost me under $200.00...I would definitely continue using Hp Auto and I will also be using them for my husband's company vehicle's 100% satisfaction!!!!"
"Thank you for your response back to me! First of all we did not get a written estimate from anyone. Second, Fred left a message for you to call because I wanted to know how much this was going to cost. You called back and I answered and you spoke to me, gave me the verbal quote and I asked about the repairs. When you told me that our 2020 Outback with 30,000 miles on had the brake pad crumbling off I decided we needed a second opinion and we took it to Subaru where we bought it. The brakes were totally fine. I am sorry this business relationship has come to this because Fred is certainly a loyal customer and I hope this will send a message to you how important your customers are because they pay your bills and there should be more loyalty on your part to them. Thank you"
"My husband has been going to these guys since they opened. They told him they would not inspect his pickup again because it needed too much work. So we purchased a different truck which we were going to do anyway. But when they told him that they couldn’t inspect our 2020 Subaru Outback with 30,000 that made bells and whistles go off. After I talked to them and they told me the new tires and brakes was going to be $1480.00 and that our brake pads were crumbling off of the disc I knew it was time to go someplace else! Well to make a long story short there was not a thing wrong with the brakes and we knew we needed tires. DO NOT GO TO THESE GUYS THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF BIG TIME"
