"I recently acquired a 2023 Kia Soul LX and realized the need for a remote start system shortly after the purchase. I contacted the Kia dealership, They offered with two solution one was to trade in my new car for an EX trim upgrade, which would have been a significant financial burden. Since Kia didn't offer an OEM remote start kit for the 2023 EX Trim, they recommended the second solution that I visit Car Spa, Which is conveniently located within walking distance from my home. I scheduled an appointment over the phone and brought my car in for installation. To my delight, the installation was completed within just 4 hours. Initially, I had concerns about the functionality of my backup sensor and rear occupant alert. I promptly contacted the Car Spa office, and they advised me to swing by for an inspection. They found that the backup sensor was indeed operational, and a simple factory reset of the instrument cluster resolved the issue with the rear occupant alert. I'm extremely satisfied with the level of service and customer experience I received at Car Spa, and it's worth noting that the remote start system comes with a generous 3-year warranty."
"I had a terrible experience with this "Car Spa" when I went to get my dashcam installed in my new car. The first installation they did in my Tucson was great, and I even left them a positive review. However, this time was a complete disappointment. I requested to have the front dashcam mounted in the center of the windshield. But after the installation was completed and I checked it, I realized that it was a terrible idea for two reasons. First, my dashcam was so big that it obstructed my view, which is a major safety concern while driving. Second, the shooting angle is smaller where it was mounted (below the black box behind the rearview mirror); I only see cars in front of me. My dashcam go as wide as 170 degrees. When I asked them to adjust it slightly to the right for a better angle, they refused, citing that I originally told them to mount it in the center. Their lack of flexibility and unwillingness to accommodate a reasonable request left me frustrated. The lack of attention to detail was also evident when I noticed that the data cable was missing after the installation. I had to ask for it separately. Moreover, the extra adhesives that come with the dashcam were also missing from the box, and I had to request them as well. The installation process itself was far from professional. Unlike my previous experience where the dashcam (front & rear) was hardwired to my vehicle's fuse box in just 50 minutes, this time it took them a staggering 2 hours and a half to simply plug it into the 12V cigarette lighter socket. The excess wire hanging near the front dashcam was an eyesore, making my windshield view unpleasant. I had spent $350 on this service, expecting the same level of professionalism and care I received before. Unfortunately, I was met with a complete lack of concern for customer satisfaction. It seemed they were solely focused on making money and didn't care about the quality of their work. In the past, I was loyal to their business because of the previous good work done by their employees. However, it's evident that those skilled individuals are either no longer working there or have moved on to better places. The current staff lacks the expertise and dedication that once made me trust this place. If you're looking to install a dashcam that can be plugged into the 12V cigarette lighter socket, save yourself the trouble and watch some YouTube tutorials or follow the manufacturer's instructions. It's not worth spending a significant amount of money on this mediocre service. However, if you're considering hardwiring the dashcam to your vehicle's fuse box, I highly recommend going elsewhere for competent and satisfactory service. This "Car Spa" clearly doesn't prioritize customer satisfaction, and I've learned my lesson not to return to this place again."
"These folks installed my Katzkin leather seats (with heating and cooling) earlier this year. Everything was perfect. When a small issue arose a few months later with the heating and cooling not working quite right, they got me in immediately, figured out the issue (Katzkin sent the wrong fuses), fixed it the same day and even filled my tires with air because the pressure was low from the cold. Every interaction with them has been professional and I’m quite pleased. Highly recommend."
"Had leather seats installed to replace cloth seats and they did a great job. New leather seats look like they came straight from the factory and were installed perfectly. Completely enhances the look and feel of my car. Everything went smoothly and without a hitch and now my car has the new car smell. Definitely recommend if you’re looking to replace cloth seats. Only wish I did this sooner!"
"Could have gone the extra mile but fell short. Disappointed. This is the company that the Toyota dealership used to replace my factory cloth seats to leather. the dealership would not give me any details on what I would be getting they just said it would look factory. so before my install date I contacted this company and asked them questions. I wanted leather but I didn't want to loose the flair or accents in the design that matched my truck. One guy said tough luck and then another employee contacted me and said it would not be a problem and was going to make sure he intercepted the order and make the corrections to make sure i was going to get what I was wanting. even if I had to pay some more money. I agreed I would. he made me feel good about my upgrading purchase at the time. and if he would have told me there was any kind of problem with it I would have delayed the install date or canceled to find somewhere else. But he assured me it would be no problem. a week later I drop my truck at the dealership. Car spa picked it up and installed my new seats. when I got my truck back and finally got to see my seats. My heart hit the floor.. instant disappointment. Now in their defense the seats looks installed well and nice. . but did not deliver the factory flair or accents. they look like plain Jane seats that could be in anything. if I knew this is what i would be stuck with I would have definitely cancel my order... get my money back from the dealership and found a company who wanted to do it the way I wanted. I am now going to have to live with these seats in my brand new truck for years and years. I have reached out to the company via email and phone to find out why happened and why they didn't do what they said they would do. and why didn't tell me they couldn't do it before my installation. Below is the pictures of my old factory seats and then the now leather. even though the leather is nice. it does not match the attitude that the original ones have. I wish I never changed them. they said is was going to be like factory..... but I have seen factory leather.... and it has the color. its a small detail that really make a big statement. But more importantly then just not getting what I want (which I was very clear about what I was looking for). is the customer service and the follow though. don't tell the customer that you are going to take care of them, and then once you have the money for the job, drop the ball not do what you said you were going to do.. and not even give me a heads up. and then afterwards when I inquire about why you didn't do what you said you were going to do. I get no any return calls or emails."
