"Don’t go here if you need any help. My wife pulled in with a soft tire in one side and a bulge in the other side tire. Tire Guy standing outside shooting the breeze with another guy told her he couldn’t help her now, or until 4 days later after Christmas . Just let an older woman , alone, drive away from a tire shop with 2 problem tires . It was Friday December 22 around 450 . Open till 7. Wonder why they are open? It’s not to provide customer service , help people or sell tires ."
"Took my car in for a coolant leak, “Brad” the alleged manager was absolutely miserable and clearly hates his job. Had my car for 4 hours and never called to let me know what was wrong with it before doing any work on it. He could barely answer my questions (aren’t you a mechanic??) when I asked what the problem was. I asked if it was a hose that needed to be replaced and he said “yeah”. I asked which hose and how much to be greeted with the response “i don’t know, the expensive one that runs across the top” (with a little research it turns out this hose is literally a $45 part). Couldn’t give me the cost of what I owed, stated that the invoice was “locked up in the computer” and told me to call back in ten to fifteen minutes. When I pick up the car I pay this man almost $300 and get a receipt back that has zero explanation of what services were completed (just said “Misc. Services”) along with the coolant that was added. Marked my cars mileage when it came in as “1”. Lazy. “Brad” then tells me that he washed my engine bay so if I “see a little steam, don’t be alarmed”. After driving 15 miles that night, the check engine light came on and has not shut off since. Throwing a P0420 code. I called the shop and spoke to “Brad” again and he was very dismissive, insisted nothing they did (even though after some research, several people had similar experiences after their engine bay got cleaned with water and from not taking the proper precautions and covering parts that should not get wet) would cause the light to come on (despite the fact that the light had NEVER once come on at any point before they touched my car, even with the coolant leak and completely dry reservoir). He refused to even offer to look at the car. (Great customer service)z Disappointing because another man (John) that works there had ALWAYS treated both my mom and I well over the years of bringing our cars there but he was on vacation this week. Had I known that it wasn’t smart to bring my car for services in Johns absence, I would have never left it in anyone else’s hands at this shop. So disappointed and feel so ripped off 3 days before Christmas, with a baby on the way. Now I have to spend MORE money at another shop (and pray it’s a little more reliable). Never going back to this shop again. Avoid at all cost."
"Terrible customer service. Would never go here again. Got brand new tires and alignment took it back since I had a 75000 mile warranty only drove 6500 miles and front tires bald and back tires leaking air. They would not honor the warranty. Wanted time to pay all over again. TERRIBLE PLACE. SAVE YOUR MONEY"
"I see a lot of mixed reviews here but I can only share my experience with this Mr. Tire center in Great Bend, PA and Mr. John Ball specifically . About a month ago, my son was coming home from college in upstate NY when his car broke down. I was a 4.5 hour drive away and couldn't readily get up there to assist. He had his vehicle towed to Mr. Tire (which honestly, I was skeptical about given this is a tire center, not a garage that typically works on engine problems). I hit the road the next morning to help out my son and was in communication with John along the way. He diagnosed that the AC compressor failed which "locked up" and was preventing critical belts to turn which power other important engine components. He advised that he would have to order the new AC compressor from Syracuse but felt like it could come in on time and he could complete the job by the time I arrived 4.5 hours later. He indeed did complete the job and the car was ready when I arrived to pick up my son from the hotel where he was staying and escort him home. Insanely enough, on our drive home from Great Bend (in the dark), my son and I (along with 12 other vehicles), ran over massive deep sections cut out of highway 81 which blew out many tires and bent many rims. Yes, this was a nightmare trip. The SHA failed to fill them back in during construction and opened up the highway resulting in a 14-car graveyard on the side of the highway that night. We mounted the tiny donut spares and were able to get the vehicles over to John, the next morning. Sure enough, he set us up with new tires and we were on our way. This Mr. Tire was the HERO of this crazy story. I will probably never find myself in Great Bend again, but in my humble opinion, these guys are rock stars!"
"Never again... Tried to say we needed two tires to pass inspection, when in fact we took it to another place and it passed instantly. Just another person trying to get someone to spend more than what they need to."
