"If I could give a lower rating, I would. This woman is absolutely terrible! She is totally after your money! My husband and his guys rented suits from her. One the guys had to back out due to financial reasons. The lady had said she could wait for payment for his suit. However, she went ahead and ordered that suit without receiving payment for it (without our knowledge). The suits were ordered months before our wedding. She was supposed to call when they came in. She did not. My husband had to call. But oh wait, she doesn't answer the phone, ever! He called her numerous times before he went in to see what was going on. She would not give him the suits unless the last suit was payed for. We had not given her the okay to order the final suit. So we not only had to pay for the initial suits, but for the suit we hadn't even ordered. She made a poor business call, and we had to pay for it, literally. After we begrudgingly payed for the final suit, we have all of them and set for the wedding. Our guy who had initially backed out was able to be apart of wedding, on the positive side. Now, instructions for return... she gave my husband a box with an address on it. She wanted him to send the suits back and pay the shipping for them, while her name was the one on the box to make it look like she was the one sending and paying for the return. Needless to say, she is a money hungry old hag! Do not go to her!"
"Unfortunately I had a bad experience here. I dropped my dress pants off to be hemmed and told them that I will need it by Tuesday as I have wedding photos. I told them I was going to be away over the weekend and so they said I can pick it up on Monday. I came on Monday to pick the pants up and they were closed. I called several times and left a message, no answer. I didn’t get to wear a nice suit for my wedding photos because of this! I don’t know how they can make this mistake, they knew I needed it on Tuesday and they said I could pick it up on Monday. They didn’t even call back to apologize for making this mistake. My mother-in-law picked up my pants today and they didn’t say anything to her even though they knew they messed up. Horrible."
"I went in for a hem on two set of curtains on Tuesday, so four curtains total. She told me it would be ready on Friday of that week but never called. I went in the next Friday and she had told me immediately walking in that she did not take any payment other than cash. She charged me $40 to make 4 hems. I could buy a cheaper sewing machine and make 4 straight lines in 20 minutes by myself. Had she given me an accurate quote prior to me handing her the curtains I would have just walked away and and went elsewhere! When I asked why the price was so high for sewing 4 lines on a machine and cutting off extra material which in total should have only been at a max of 30 minutes she rudely told me that it took her 5 hours to hem my curtains. I will certainly never be returning and I recommend anyone reading this not ask this woman to provide them with any alteration service."
"I had a great experience with this shop owner. She helped me in an emergency with my bridesmaid dress. She had it altered in less than 2 weeks and was incredibly easy to work with. She was kind, welcoming and made me feel incredibly comfortable. My dress was perfect. I had a great experience with this kind woman."
"Picking my dress was easy. It was a good price for a beautiful dress. The alterations however? Oh good god. She only had me come in once to see how much needed to be taken from the bottom. I asked that the dress be ready by the day before my wedding as we were going out of state and leaving first thing in the morning. She called my phone multiple times at 8 am the morning of (I had arranged to pick it up at 10) saying that my dress wouldn't be ready until noon and that I would have to come in to try it on so that she could alter whatever needed to be done last minute.... when I had appointments scheduled out of state for 1 pm. So I had to have someone else pick the dress up, she finished it literally just in time when they picked it up at TWO, and the dress was ruined because it was still WAY too long. I've never left a review good or bad in my entire life, but I really felt the need to do it on account of these are WEDDING DRESSES. If somebody trusts something so big in your hands, I'm sorry but you put in a little more effort. PLEASE DON'T GO HERE! SHE WILL RUIN YOUR DRESS!"
