"Stayed here with friends in January 2022. We rented two of the rooms and were very pleasantly surprised to find the house to be so cozy and welcoming! Our breakfasts were delicious. It’s not too far from Stratton, which is a plus."

"We were here visiting the inn as part of the Vermont Country Inns Holiday Tour to support the local food bank. We did not stay over but did have chance to walk through the common spaces of the inn. All of the guest rooms were booked so we could not see rooms but the Ira Allen has a very charming cozy feel where guests can fully relax and unwind. Its very old and the historical charm adds to the appeal. The owner was very pleasant and the snacks yummy!"

"Finally! After several years of nudging from my sister in law Pam R., my wife and I made it to the Ira Allen House B&B in Sunderland, VT. There was six of us ( three couples) and we had the best time ever. The drive up was amazing, the location was wonderful. When we arrived Michael our host was down right welcoming and very gracious. The accommodations were comfy and very cozy. The chocolate chip cookies in the main room were a great touch. Oh by the way, did I mention the history of this home. Wowza! The living room was my favorite ( along with the bear). Michael prepared for us the most amazing breakfast. Fresh skyr yogurt from local farms. The eggs and waffles great. Overall, great place to be. Thanks to Michael and Kevin."
