"Visit in 2012 Romantic and comfortable getaway. Very sweet owners. The whole property is miraculously maintained and beautiful. It is Very clean, I felt like I could totally relax. We booked 3 nights and ended up extending our stay to 5 nights we were so impressed. The interior is gorgeous with great pieces of furniture and great design in the spaces of the giant space. Lovely property overall including the great pool and view and positive energy and vibes. The food served was delicious with loving detail. A must stay for anyone who wants a beautiful experience."
"We greatly enjoyed our one night stay at Crisanver House. It was a snowy evening when we arrived at the Inn and we were warmly welcomed by Carol and Andrea. Our room in one of the cottages was warm and comfortable. Breakfast in the beautiful conservatory the next morning was delicious and bravo to the locally sourced and organic ingredients served. The seasonal snow made the view of the Green Mountains even that much more inspiring. Thank you, Carol, for the fun conversation!"
"For us the lodgings were quite expensive but we decided to push the boat out a bit. The setting was idyllic and I loved the walk around the property, down to the pond and through the wood. The house itself was lovely. However, while acknowledging that we happened to be the only ones staying in Crisanver that night, it was disappointing that we could not eat at the house on our night of arrival, given the overall cost of accommodation. Carol was very good and hospitable, as was Gail who served us breakfast. Nice but expensive and in order to justify the price I think one needs to make more use of the amenities (pool, tennis court, boules...)."
"Our five-night stay at Crisanver House was one of the most relaxing vacations we've enjoyed in years. Our room was both extremely comfortable and impeccably decorated, as is the entire house. Carol, Michael, and Andrea are superb hosts β always helpful, and ever ready with recommendations regarding local attractions and activities. The staff is wonderfully friendly and attentive. The grounds are beautifully kept, and we made good use of both the tennis court and the swimming pool and enjoyed local theater, restaurants, and historic sites. We looked forward to Carol's absolutely delicious breakfasts every morning and couldn't decide whether we enjoyed them more in the beautiful sunroom or on the deck, with its spectacular view. We wish we could have stayed longer and would love to return another summer."
"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Crisanver House. Carol made us most welcome despite our early arrival and we were able to enjoy relaxing at the pool, taking in the glorious views. We were served a delicious dinner looking out across the tree filled valley and watching a glorious sunset. Our room was well equipped and very comfortable. Breakfast was served outside on the terrace listening to some glorious birdsong and appreciating the beautifully tended gardens.. We would have relished making use of the tennis court but injury prevented this. We did however avail ourselves of a delightful walk through the surrounding woodlands. We would thoroughly recommend this hotel."
