"Karen and Mick were great to us, way better than a hotel or renting a house. They knew our names by the end of the first night and had some great stories to tell whenever we hung out by the fire in the main house over the next two days. We showed up to some fresh baked cookies and a tour of the grounds. The cottage we stayed in was the perfect rustic cozy set up you hope for staying in VT. They asked what time we planned on getting up and made breakfast fresh accordingly. Each meal had amazing scones, a delicious fruit, and an amazing main course with plenty of drink options. Definitely plan to stay here for any future trips up into this area!"

"The Featherbed Inn is a beautiful property run by the dynamic duo of Karen and Mick. They're generous hosts who take tremendous pride in making their guests feel welcomed and comfortable. Our room was clean, with amenities as advertised. The beds were delightful, the hot tub splendid, and the breakfasts delicious. Karen even brought us into the kitchen one afternoon to teach us how she makes her famous scones. Such a treat! "My wife and I booked the “Heather” room as a last minute couples getaway. We had a wonderful experience! It was our first time staying at a B&B so we were a little unsure if we would even like the format. It was great. Mick and Karen are excellent hosts! They were very personable and super helpful with recommendations and suggestions. The property itself is great. We stayed in the most economical room, which was perfect for my wife and I. The weather was not great while we were there so we didn’t get to enjoy the little swimming pond but we did take a dip in the hot tub and hiked the beautiful trails that start at the property and tie into a more extensive network. While we just hiked, I imagine the trails are amazing for the more adventurous mountain bikers. If you are thinking of going “leafing” or just want to experience a taste of the Vermont mad river valley, this is the place to stay."

"My husband and I had a lovely weekend in Vermont and staying at the Featherbed Inn was the reason. The room accommodated my husband's special needs and both Karen and Mick were sensitive to his mobility issues. He loved the walk in shower! The breakfasts were delicious...the scones a sweet treat to start the day with my tea. This would be a great spot to stay with family for a ski treat to Sugar Bush!"
