"Have stayed at White Horse Lodge a couple times now and it really is perfect for a lowkey ski weekend. Only 7 minutes away from Mad River Glen and really comfortable accommodations at a reasonable price - which is increasingly difficult to find. Great shared spaces including a fridge/freezer, microwave, and coffee in the mornings so you make your own breakfast before you head out. Looking forward to coming back."

"Excellent value. My stay was mid-week and the price was better than most other motels/lodges in the area. The room was a good size, had a comfortable bed, and was a clean/comfortable environment. The bathroom was clean and a good size. My only contact with staff was when I checked in; the young woman was very pleasant. The location is excellent; 5 minutes to restaurants and less than 10 minutes to the Sugarbush base area. I highly recommend White Horse Lodge."

"The place was so cute! They just remodeled. It was very clean. The downstairs kitchen/ club house area was a great hangout spot. I like how they had quiet hours past 9pm- that way I could sleep. The place was very cozy homey feeling, Owners were so nice. The tea and honey were very good!"

"Great choice for value and location near the resort. Rooms are modest but again great for the value. Everything is clean and the beds are comfortable. Service is mostly by text or phone but they are fast, friendly, and responsive. Ideal recommendation for a day or two get away at the resort."

"My husband and I stayed one night during our autumn road trip around New England and had the loveliest time. The property is peaceful and rustic, and our room was very clean, cozy, and decorated tastefully. Communication for check in and how to get there were very clear, and it felt nice to know that they were expecting you. The bed was incredible, we both had one of the most restful sleeps we have had in a long time!! We enjoyed spending the morning in the shared area having some snacks, tea and coffee, and reading by the fireplace. I would have loved if the fireplace had a fire going, but perhaps that only happens in the evenings (we arrived quite late in the evening prior). Overall, we had such a nice, peaceful stay, and we are already looking forward to coming back again."
